Well the above applies to any and all states. The laws only remain in place for as long as the majority so choses (except in dictatorships of course, in which case for a certain period the laws do not reflect the majority's position).

I don't know all of the Constitutions or Common Laws of Europe, but I found out that France at least doesn't have the kind of religious protections that I would like to see. No wonder France is always antagonizing their immigrents with burka bans and such -- France is in danger of Sharia too.

Ethnic change doesn't have to be a bad thing though. If your system of freedom and rights is strong it can survive whatever century or ethnic group calls it their own.

At least in the USA we have the 1st Amendment which includes religious freedom against those in government using their positions of power to launch religious cleansings and genocides in the name of setting up their personal religion. Sharia law cannot find root in America. The founding fathers of the USA took lessons from the Protestant revolution, and the massacres that occured, and put in protections to help prevent religion from using the government's power against its own people.

 

Consitutions also offer little protection when the demographics change sufficiently. Laws are never written in stone and sooner or later a majority will find a why to change them, if they so desire - by force or otherwise. Has it ever been any other way?
Ethnic change may mean laws change. It may mean that minorities retain rights or not; depends on the views of the ehtnicity in charge.

I suggest you spend your time reading up on history, using narratives from all sides.

Clearly, we had the right to kill them! They invaded our borders, we had the full right to do so! Still, we did not! Since we Humanities (unlike many who say otherwise!)
I maybe only 15 but I know quite a bit, for example if Someone breaks into your home in the United States you have every right to kill him ... they crossed the border should not be crossed... It is our right!

This is just not true. Israeli pilots refused to continue flying assassination missions because of the indesriminant killing of civilians. Google it.

Dropping 1000 lb bombs in the middle of crowded neighborhoods "because there might be a bad guy somewhere in the area .. is no excuse for mass killing of civilians.

If you look at the stats .. the number of Palestinian children killed in this conflict is 10 times higher than the number of Israeli children.

The Israeli airforce has killed thousands of non-terrorists.

I do not take sides in this issue. I am just against "intentional" killing of innocents on both sides.

 

More Arabs have been killed by Syrians in last 6 months than the IDF has killed in Many years ...

 

Tell us how many the IOF have killed in many years. Here's a starter; they killed 400 Palestinian children over christmas, 2008/9 , along with a thousand other people in just one operation. According to Israeli policy that means that 4,000 Israeli children and ten thousand other Israelis must die.

 

Do your own homework ,it may surprise you, IOF is that the Elks Lodge ??
