I don't blame Republicans for attacking the President. He has displayed incompetence all the time. It is this reason why I try to separate myself from tax and spend Obama Democrats. This is the reason why most Democrats in my area separate ourselves from Obamacrats. I work at the local Democratic Party (part time), and all of the employees, including myself voted for Hillary Clinton over Obama. We don't idealize the current President, but JFK and Truman. The only Obama poster we have we make fun of by saying "big brother is watching you." We favor politicians that do the right thing over what is in-line with current party principles. We are true intellectuals.

You do not have to be an Obama supporter to be for America. You don't have to be a Democrat to be for America. If you believe in the principles that made this nation great, you are for the United States.

I don't think that will happen. Bush is the reason the Democrats took control of Congress in 2007 and Obama in 2009 that resulted in a total devastation of our economy. The people will not be so forgiving next time. If the Republicans want to run an LBJ-style democrat again, they'll never get elected.

You would be referring to the "United" States that sent American soldiers to die in Iraq against the expressed wishes of the American people?

America is an oligarchy. With a government elected by corporate money.

That's not too difficult to distinguish from an actual democracy, is it?

We have a man more divisive, more disruptive, more partisan, and more ideologically biased as any POTUS in American history. Jefferson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Coolidge would be appalled.

Unfortunately, the silly fool has essentially won the lottery and is set for life and will never know discomfort ever again.

The pain the American people will feel due to his policies will be generational.

You clearly are not familiar with many of them.
The last part of your post is just more lines that appear to be copy pasted everywhere on these fora. They are like PF slogans.

Uh, you obviously don't understand. Democracies don't exist for long so I tend to exclude them from most conversations. America is still operating as a Republic, but you are correct that we are fast becoming an oligarchy. My point was that our elected leaders approved the Iraq war which is how it's supposed to work, regardless of the wishes of the majority.

Our current President, Obama is a Statist so he has no regard for rule of law. (He's even managed to raise far more money this year from the financial and banking sector than anyone in history.) Yes, America has problems. If we can't get things back on track in the next few years, we'll be through.

Of course. The majority is there only to be ignored in the pursuit of minority interests.

I am soooooo foolish. Why can I not understand that?

Then your refutation should be a bit more well honed and germane? :-D

I dont see too many in the visual you have presented.
You have posted as if asking a question, you do not understand how much I appreciate this although I question its sincerity. It is well honed and very germane, at times concise, yet on occassion verbose. Its just a very tiresome task and it logically follows for one to grow tired. Yet, refuting the disparaging remark that President Obama is a 'silly fool' does not have need to be very honed or germane as it, in itself, is but a sly denigrating comment not intended for refutation.

Jealousy and anger? I say, Love your President. Throw a shoe at him today!

Crushed eggshells are more complex than GW. You HAVE heard that he is a "bit of a dunce" on occasion over the years, have you not?

(Pssst...they weren't rumors). The man is dumber than dirt.

Gee. That was a fascinating insight into what Americans think a democratic system is.

It covered the bit about a republic being a representative state without a monarchy or aristocracy (which in America is not actually true) and forgot that democracy is a process whereby governments are elected.

Not only did it forget that, it set the two up in opposition to one another.

I despair of political thought in the hands of ordinary Americans. They just can't handle it.

Speaking of heads, are you going to tell me why a republic form of government is not elected by a democratic electoral process.

Or do you favour the Iranian model? You do know that Iran is a republic, don't you?
