    Good for PP!! The right wing extremists do realize that PP offers many other services as well. Abortion is just one of many "LEGAL" "INDIVIDUAL" "CONSTITUTIONAL" medical choices a woman has to them.

    Hmmmm... only problem with that is that other countries that are WELL KNOWN for their "liberal policies that promote uninhibited promiscuous sexual behaviors" have MUCH MUCH MUCH lower rates of teen pregnancies, teen STDs and teen abortions.

    In addition, once we actually started comprehensive sex education, the rate of teen pregnancies dropped dramatically.

    So if you're just going to try and shovel bull(*)(*)(*)(*) around, might I suggest a larger shovel?

    These days kids, particularly girls, are reaching puberty at astonishingly early ages. The "conservative" model of sex education expects these kids to abstain for almost nearly a decade while their bodies are going through the most hormonally fitful time in their lives.

    It would be GREAT if these teens decided to hold off until they weren't just physically ready but emotionally ready as well but that is just not the reality of the situation.

    You want to know what one of the greatest factors in the reduction of teen pregnancies was? Title IX which the "conservatives" fought and still fight tooth and nail. One of the ancillary benefits to providing more sports scholarships for the other 1/2 of the population? Less likely to engage in risky sexual behavior. A win... unless you're a far-righter who doesn't understand why society likes principles that promote egalitarianism.
