come out of this election cycle, but at least Republicans have had sense enough to jettision Bachman and Perry. That is a giant step toward rehabilitating your sorry party, my Republican friends. Especially that Perry dude. How did you manage to let him slip through?

Honestly now...do you seriously think that either Bachman or Perry would be a worse President than Obama? Especially Perry, who has executive experience over a LARGE entity.

If you actually think that, I mean if you REALLY think that, I'm surprised.

Honestly - I know the country would not survive either Bachmann or Perry. And we all know how valuable being governor of Texas was for Bush (I voted for Bush in 2000, btw). I just ain't goin' back that way again.

All that religion stuff from Bachmann and Perry is just their way of saying 'don't blame me for the f-ups, blame God.'

Not so. We wouldn't have survived 3 more months of Bush.

Perry and Bachmann have no place in politics, in all reality. Bachmann especially.

But poor Perry, I can respect him as a man:

If Barack bowed out instead of sticking around to watch his party die, I'd have more respect for him, too. Hope the Dems are prepared for the shellacking they'll receive come Nov... it's gonna be brutal.

I will be truly amazed if Barack doesn't beat the cultist Romney by more states than he beat McCain.

Not gonna happen, Phoebe. Might as well prepare yourself for Obama's defeat... it's gonna be brutal.

The electoral map is not favorable for Republicans, especially facing an incumbent who is proceeding over an improving economy. Not to mention the billion dollars, don't get your hopes up. Mine aren't.

Can you remind me of the name of the leader of the GOP. I seem to have forgotten, since I haven't heard a peep from him or her for months. Perhaps, on reflection, there isn't a permanent name in the frame, nor a person of quality in the battle for the Presidential vacancy in 2016, yet you have the gall to refer to a dying party.

I've lost before. Just ain't gonna happen this time. You can take that to the bank.

It could have happened if you had just come up with ONE halfway decent candidate. With the possible exception of John Huntsman, all of your candidates are either fools or have too much baggage. OR they are liberals anyway.

Filled up your tank lately? Economy might be improving for big biz... for the avg Joe, not so much. Food prices are outrageous, too. People are sick of it. This is what Obama's 'grassroots support' has turned into now.

But, the Democrats haven't jettisoned Barack Obama, yet. That would be a giant step toward rehabilitating your once fine party. Now, as simply wannabee socialists, they're pitiful. How you let Barack Obama slip through in the first place is obvious but you have a shot to correct your error.

    But, will you take it?

Which leader would you like... the GOP has lots of leaders. The only question remaining is which one will take over in January 2013.

Dems on the other hand have NO ONE but Barack. Once he's gone... the party is dead -- or at least entering a period of intense healing. Who do you think will be the next big candidate for the Dems... Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

Yet another big government liberal? Come on!

You want Obama to intervene with the markets even more? How can Obama or any president take responsibility or control of the economy?

    Begone, liberals!

Yep. And I'm not too young to remember gas at over $4/gal when Bush was around.

Why are you concerned regarding the next leader of the Democrat party when, from the lots of purported leaders of the GOP you weren't even prepared to name one? It surely is embarrassed on your part.

Look at that GOP lot on view. They couldn't even lead a horse to drink.

Do you also remember unicorns? Gas peaked at around $4 a gallon, briefly. From beginning to end of the administration gas went up 7%. So far, for Obama, it's gone up 67% and he has taken specific actions banning drilling hoping to drive the cost higher. Remember. liberals like Al Gore have said they want gas over $5 a gallon. And, President Obama has made it clear he wants to force us to drive electric cars, just not very far.

Oh, I read Solyndra executives are now getting boneses. You've gotta love them.

Oh, right, the liberal "leaders" who lead from behind. I don't think those are called leaders. Kidnappers, maybe. Executioners, maybe. Leaders? Nah!

Stop for a moment and take a good look around.....we aren't surviving Obama. 4 more years of Obama and we won't be able to recover from him either.

Obama picked up where he left off.
I'm not sure what you don't like about Bush, their policies largely identical.
