Everyone will have have billions of worthless dollars. It will be reminiscent of Wiemar Germany. No country survives prolonged and protracted eras of financial instability. Can you name a single polity in history that has survived such eras?

I think your president will be reelected. I think the Republicans will keep the House and take the Senate. I think the reelection of your president will have a radicalizing effect on the right. We are now in the third iteration of America. This version is coming to an end because it can't be sustained. Racial animosity is growing. Class envy is growing. Ideological division is increasing. There are two incompatible visions for the future. The two visions are likely to destroy each other, and the country will grow weaker and weaker and weaker until some external force or event finishes it off. No polity in history has survived this level of internal corrosive dissent without a civil war literally or figuratively.
Is it racism or culturalism? Some of the American public are questionable about Muslims because their ethos and morals might conflict with popular American culture. I don't think it has anything to do with race or even religion.
My point is simple to understand ... history tell us all that Majorities are never forever ...not everyone is born on first, second or third base. Some people have to fight to just get into the park. BTW ... my Wife isn't White either or Black ... she's Puerto Rican.
Majorities are not forever. You are correct. The same thing is true for polities like Rome and America. Our children will not live in a polity called America. Nothing is forever.
I can tell you why we've developed such a distrust of muslims, because that's one of the strategies a fascist regime uses to take over a country, they create a fear or mistrust of a specific race, religion, or culture, in order to redirect people's attentions away from what is actually going on in the government. This misdirection allows them to institute restrictive laws, that are defended as necessary to protect people from this impending evil. No one questions it and one day, after people realize the threat was never really there, they wake up with collars around their necks, being led to the factories where they and their children will spend the rest of their lives. So keep focusing on racism, hatred, and bigotry, because you're actually doing everything the government wants you to do and while you focus on all this crap they're taking a little bit of your freedom away each day. Hopefully you wake up before it's too late. (And if you don't believe me, just go back and check out what happened in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and numerous other regimes. And don't think your race matters, the only thing that matters to fascist regimes is unquestioning loyalty. Better hope your sons and daughters don't have an independent streak, or they may end up on the wrong side of the new world order.) JJ

Sometimes it's easier to ignore tough questions. The problem is that external reality won't go away. The financial instability of the country is the element that is fatally weakening the country. And the American left has no answers. All things end. America is no exception. Thanks for the chat.
