I do not doubt this Cathy Ricardson sounded like Janis. However like the guitar playing of the Star Spangled Banner by Hendrix at the Motreal pop festable. Copied but never duplicated. What amazed me about Janis Joplin is I could not understand how a woman so small could have such a voice.
That could have been the place. I went to a Janis Joplin concert in Galveston. I tried to get to the stage and some biker clipted me. Ah Janis she was taken too young. I still play her music.

I heard poems from beatniks at a coffee dive just someplace in Chicago can't rememeber the name though, It was kinda like a talent show with music people would just go to the stage every once in awhile to quote poetry or talk about the freedom of the universe or something like that. By the time I got old nough and knew what was going on I was a beatnik for about two days then I went straight to hippie. Kinda fell in cracks I guess. Just as well I didn't mind the bongo drums so much but some of the beatniks poetry was really "what's the word" "OUT THERE" LOL
Oh you might be surprised, there were couple of people starting to stand up and fight back the systeme in the mid late 50's. The rednecks and hardliners blamed it on the indroduction of rock music and sometimes what they called jungle music, and even beatniks. The activist were saying it's just the right thing to do. Who's to say huh?

I gave it in yesterday the lady I gave it to was very rude, she said they had been trying to chase me but they havent even called so I think she was lying, anyway they knew it would go back late afternoon too bad for them. She didnt even ask for my name so they might even get my results mixed up with someone else's if they are smart they wont and even if they do it will be their fault, that stupid rude cow.
Sometimes they change their mind hen come back the next day with an old opinion though I hope Rich keeps his opinion now.

I got married and quit school, thought I was grown. 10 years later I have 2 children and divorced. There has already been a long thread about informed consent. Too much going on to truly discuss now for it. I have read some of your threads and understand you have had trials in your life as well!
