I'm puzzled about this mod action. I've read the rules and they say this:

(10) When posting quotes by other authors or news agencies please give appropriate credit, preferably accompanied by a hyperlink to the original article. Very large articles should be posted as attachments preferably with a summary in the body of the post. All posts with such quotes must contain some type of comment by the user in the body of the post (subject and description do not count).

So it seems to me that the rule is against posting "Very large articles", not all articles.

Why do I get this message?

Moderators don't always notice that a thread has been closed; we can post in them directly, without having to "open" them, and we often miss that the button says "closed" instead of "post reply."

Raytri you closed the D/Standards thread, abns opened it to make an observation, then closed it again, do you think this helps cause of moderation?

raytri, old buddy old pal...come on, tell us who the sock puppet was puppetting for. So far the best guesses, that I know of are Sunni Man or someone banned more recently.
Can't you tell us and end the curiosity?
