‘All Lives Matter’ Gets Texas Student Suspended, Sent To Diversity Workshop

    How in the world is saying All Lives Matter be offensive? And who decides what's offensive? When the liberal types make racist or offensive remarks they're defended to the hilt and the 1st Amendment gets thrown in our faces. But when they're supposedly offended then they feel differently and actually punish people for expressing their thoughts. How many black lives matter supporters have been punished for wanting dead cops?

    There are two sets of rules in this country, one for liberals and one for everybody else.

    Ah crap! It's really getting bad. A student is suspended b/c she says 'all lives matter'......

    Brace yourself, Steve. It's gone this far and it'll get even worse.

    I want back the America that I grew up in where ALL lives really did matter!

    How ironic that the Thought Police
    swing into action defending a racist organization that is, itself, responsible for so many dead and crippled police officers.

    I'll bet it's all lost on them and I bet this young woman will have lots of time to contemplate this while at reducation camp.

    What can she learn? That all lives don't matter or to keep her thoughts to herself for fear of repercussions? And on a Facebook page? Do they really have PC police?

    What can she learn?
    I hope that she learns that actions sometimes have consequences.
    She was getting a stipend from the university for her work for the student government.
    She chose to make a provocative comment on a very controversial subject.
    For some people, this touches a raw nerve.
    She really needs to know better and be smarter next time.
    I wish her well and hope she learns, and grows, and is able to gain something positive from this.

    Free speach is dead I guess and all lives don't matter. And if what someone says hurts someone's feelings they should be silenced and be subject to retraining.

    And who can fix the mess? An authoritarian figure, a dictator or leader charismatic enough to manipulate the majority to bend the establishment. It is nice to see that supply will finally meet the demand. It failed with Ron Paul once, but I guess won't fail the second time with the Trump.

    If someone can explain why saying "all lives matter" is an offense at all, that might help us. I see no evidence of offense in the phrase. I see no evidence of racism or intent to discriminate in any way in the phrase. Bill Maher (who is a leftist... let me repeat, Bill Maher is a leftist... once again, he's a leftist) agrees. Keep in mind that this phrase originates with a liberal female professor that SUPPORTED the Ferguson protesters after the Michael Brown shooting (story).

    welcome to europeanized liberals... I've been griping about the restrictions on free speech they've slowly been passing over there, each and every year adding more things to the list of what you can't say, who you can't offend, or what people you can make public comments on... slowly and surely you can't speak out against them, and thats when there will no longer be any opposition, because it will be criminal to oppose them through voice or print... this is why laws were meant to be objective, and not subjectively open to interpretation, this is why I point out courts that are creating laws by over-stepping their bounds in allowing certain lawsuits to go forward... in fact my own state is going through this again, voter ID was once again challenged in court, it was not too long ago upheld by the supreme court, so since democrats lost, they just changed the strategy and decided to attack something else, just in time for elections... my state has more bills that have been passed the last 5 years, being held up in courts, than any other state, all because democrats want to legislate from the bench... if they can't win control, they can hold up laws indefinitely as the lawsuits are always filed in courts where they have a super majority stronghold in voters who ensure these judges get put back on the bench... this is not what the founding fathers had in mind...

    because you criticized the original poster who did not like your response, we're going to mandate you attend a diversity workshop so you can understand how wrong your actions were, and you should stop criticizing him online... (this is what the university did, so if you're okay with that, you should have no problem attending the workshop)... until you complete the diversity workshop to our satisfaction, you're suspended from using any electronic devices or surfing the internet... you see how stupid this sounds?

    If someone gets mad about another saying "all lives matter" then that person needs some serious psychiatric help and should never have anything to do with government on any level.
