Haha, not sure how to react. Because Cassius Clay was always a crashing racist...but he's right: it's human nature to want to segregate. Trevor Philips, black ex-head of the "Equalities Commission" in the UK did a documentary on just this.

It probably means quite a lot. She's young enough to pretty much certainly not be carrying any political baggage around, so her reactions are genuine. She goes to Paris expecting to see...Paris. As in, white French people. And she's surprised to be faced with an substantially black population. Paris before / Paris after. That's the point. It's not expected. It's not normal. It's surprising. And for a large unspoken minority (or majority?), it's not welcome.

 

Daily "Fail" = very standard pejorative reference on the part of the extreme left to Britain's most popular daily newspaper, The Daily Mail.
