You answered your own question. Bill obviously finds dynamic exchange interesting,
but in the year or so I've been here I've found there are people willing to debate their
perspective, but a lot of people just like to label someone as 'right wing' to avoid any
debate and just like to hear their own voice, and to 'win' a discourse.

Bill is debating from a less popular perspective and therefore is the variety needed
for productive conversation.

 

Basically what is unpopular is truth.

Why is Julian Assange locked up? For telling the truth.
Why is Joe Biden the president? Because he is a liar.

The truth is that Biden STOLE classified documents from a SCIF.

Biden stole classified documents over the course of decades but the left doesn't say **** about this.

Trump, on the other hand, didn't steal any documents and had them in his possession as was his legal right. Nevertheless, he was raided by Biden's thugs, charged with a crime in a civil case, and the left wants him buried under the jail. What Trump did and what Biden did aren't comparable, as Biden committed actual crimes.

This is just more election interference bullshit, just like Russia Russia Russia.

So why debate with dishonest people? All they are doing is trying to rig the election AGAIN.

The US government is going after Trump because he told the truth. So much for so called Constitutional rights....we don't have any if you cross the deep state.
Assange is in jail for telling the truth/exposing the deep state.
Snowden is in Russia after telling the truth/exposing the deep state.
Gonzalo Lira was left to die in a ukrainian prison by zelensky because he told the truth about zelensky/ukraine.
Thousands of peaceful protestors are still incarcerated because of their speech.
The Tate Brothers were just arrested (again) today because of their speech.

I don't know which one is worse now, the US or the UK. ukraine is only free for those who believe CNN so they really don't count.

If you divulge information that is classified, that is highly likely to be extremely illegal.

The fact that the information is truth is NOT THE ISSUE. In fact, if it were NOT the truth, he would be better off, legally.

That did NOT cover the person who made those papers public by ensuring that the NYT got them.

Daniel Ellsberg released the papers to the press, and he paid a price for having done that.
