Wednesday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) expressed his frustration with some of the rhetoric from prominent Democrats following Tuesday’s three-count guilt verdict for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.

The Louisiana Republican said he took exception to President Joe Biden, who he said knew better but has aligned himself of being to the left of Vladimir Lenin.

“I’m listening to the congresswoman, and I’m thinking no disrespect, but how does anyone get to be her age and believe that drivel?” Kennedy said. “This, to me, is what this is all about, Tucker: No fair-minded person believes that cops, many of whom are racial minorities, get up every day and go to work hoping for the opportunity to be able to hurt someone, including but not limited to people of color. That’s nonsense.”...

Senator Kennedy did a newsmaker interview and said what is being reported on in this article their. I’m glad he said what he did. He is right on in my opinion. President Biden is a fraud posing as a moderate and I’m glad he was called out on it.

You also added nothing of value/opinion/insight into the article.
    Just another drive by posting.
    It gets tiresome

It is foolish hyperbole to accuse Joe Biden of being to the left of Vladimir Lenin. Nevertheless, I who voted for him am disappointed that he seems to have become infected with the collective psychosis of wokeism. I supported the civil rights movement as a child, a teenager, and a young adult. During the 1950's I was a child living in the South. It was not very safe to advocate the integration of the segregated elementary school I attended. I did it anyway. I thought that blacks and whites were intrinsically equal, and that when blacks were no longer discriminated against, most of them would begin to perform and behave as well as most whites.

In 2021 it is obvious to me that this has not happened. Black rates of crime and illegitimacy have risen. Black academic performance has improved little if at all, despite expensive government spending programs like Head Start and No Child Left Behind. During the 1950's in the South it was dangerous for me to defend blacks. Now it is dangerous for me to write a comment like this. I expect to be flamed, warned by a mod, and perhaps suspended or banned for drawing attention to facts that nearly everyone is privately aware of.

I like Joe Biden. I am glad I voted for him. I am glad he won. Nevertheless, I am sorry that he feels the need as a politician to express anger at the death of George Floyd, but no anger at the black ghetto riots that followed. Those riots caused an estimated two billion dollars in damage.

What more do blacks want? What more can whites do? Blacks are not discriminated against any more. They are discriminated in favor of with affirmative action programs. Trillions of dollars in money, largely taxed from whites, has been spent on anti poverty programs designed to help poor blacks. Nevertheless, it is fashionable to believe that black problems are still caused by white racism, and dangerous to disagree.

It’s not nonsense. It’s what Sen. Kennedy said yesterday. It is fact that Biden is governing far too the left of where most thought he would.

It was a straightforward news account of what a US Senator said.

And you can guarantee that Kennedy has even the foggiest idea how far left Lenin was, or was not?? My opinion would be Kennedy knows little to nothing about Lenin.

Lots of people say lots of things. So what?

    Breaking: Kennedy Says Something

    Seriously?

No, it's fear mongering nonsense used to exploit people like you.

Biden's approval rating has been significantly above water since January. Something the previous occupant never achieved. Obviously, Kennedy is trying to rile up the small minority of like-minded people who still support Trump. This thread is evidence that it worked.

Yadda yadda yadda, they said the same about FDR and it didn't happen. But, the roaring 20s brought us the great depression.

Seems to me the ones gutting the economy, republicans in '29, and republicans again in '08, are, well, republicans.

And, when dems come in to take America out of the ditch repubs drove us into, what do repubs bitch about?

    We took to long.

Yeah, we took too long to get America out of the ******n ditch they drove us into in the first place, and then they have the gall to ask us to hand them back the keys.

Biden is governing on orders from Obama (Hate America Again). Make no mistake about it. Biden has never had an agenda, an idea, an opinion, or a policy, or a suggestion of his own. He is a sheep in a suit and probably good a bluffing in a poker game. A small mind can and does exude confidence.

Tucker is a rich boy, spoiled with his arrogant association with life he has no idea what cops think period because he lives in his own bubble because his job is rhetorical propaganda, he is not interested in the truth because the truth would destroy his bias and his association with riding the wave of prosperity only rich people can afford.

Pretty much every cable news "journalist" is ivory tower to some extent. Tucker interviews alot of law enforcement officials though. Not saying that there's no bias or that guests aren't selectively invited. I am saying that Tucker does talk to cops, and probably has some pretty fair insights. But at the rate cops are taking early retirements, or flat out quitting, it doesn't take too much insight to guage the sentiment behind it.

I think Biden is in what we might call the "Twilight zone", a place mentally wavering between worlds, often blending them- and is not the person constructing his own conclusions. While Biden has been a politician for a long time, he was never a brilliant one or a patriotic one; he just played the game to his best advantage and avoided challenges he didn't think he could win. The long rumored diminishing capacity is no illusion, obviously. I'm intrigued by the similarities in his actions and that of an old friend who is sinking into the that condition, but more advanced than Biden. I've watched my friend lose various abilities over the last few years, denying anything was different, dodging situations that might reveal the situation. The worst of it is the loss of rationality- the ability to connect conduct with character, to recognize who to trust, who poses risk. These symptoms first became obvious about three years ago, and it has progressed with increasing speed. Id say that two years ago, my friends condition was similar to where I think Biden is today. My friend today is being placed in the custody of a guardian to manage estate and affairs. So I don't think Biden is posing; that would require full mental comprehension and control of himself. I don't think he actually understands what is going on, and is being played- while under the illusion that he actually is in control. While that is sad for Biden, it's disasterous for the nation.

I find the hysteria in this quote quite amusing.

If Biden was left of Lenin I believe that would make him an anarcho communist and I have yet to see any sign of that political philosphy.

Not one Trumpist has any clue what an anarcho-communism is and what is unforgiveable is that not a one will take the time to look it up.

Fox speaks to them and they parrot. Mindless drones.
