The more socialism the more tax dodging. As well-known all six are fervent leftists and bold fighters against conservatives.A 'good' job, democrats. Everywhere lefts run countries stealing and tax cheating ( by lefts ) are common place

Between 2011 and 2020, Amazon, Facebook, Alphabet (the owner of Google), Netflix, Apple, and Microsoft — known as the “Silicon Six” — paid roughly $219 billion in income taxes, which amounts to just 3.6% of their more than $6 trillion in total revenue, according to the Fair Tax Foundation. Income tax is paid on profits, not total revenue, and researchers said these tech giants are adept at reducing their tax liabilities by shifting profits to offshore tax havens.

Had the “Silicon Six” paid the prevailing tax rates in the countries in which they operate, they would have given global tax authorities over $149 billion more than they did over the past decade, researchers said. Moreover, not only did these corporate behemoths fork over nearly $150 billion less than would be expected under a stronger international taxation regime, but they also inflated the value of the tax payments they did make.

According to the Fair Tax Foundation, these six companies reported paying approximately $315 billion in income taxes between 2011 and 2020, which is 23.2% on nearly $1.4 trillion in profits. That’s significantly higher than the 16.1% rate the companies actually paid over the past decade, however, resulting in a gap of more than $96 billion between tax figures cited in annual financial reports and real contributions to public revenues.

That's exactly how we're going to pay for free college tuition, universal healthcare, public campaign financing, infrastructure, reparations for blacks, refuge to those who are persecuted in other countries,... all the things we believe the richest nation in the world should have. By stopping corporate welfare to this and all other large corporations.

I see no problem here given that the named firms donate to Democrat politicians.

What does that have to do with this? ALL employees pay taxes. But only small businesses and some medium businesses pay their own fair share.

When Taxes skyrocket, Democrats are the reason why they did.
But Democrats work hard for their constituents , the very rich.
So did you truly expect those firms to not follow Democrats tax laws to the letter?

Most of that time, the rich paid less when the president was a Democrat. It was no accident.

Actually for pure dollars lost, it is the lower 45-47% paying no income taxes that beats those you want hammered.
Like me for example. I pay no Federal nor State taxes other than sales taxes upon purchases.

The word FAIR is a term that when Democrat's say it actually means unfair.
What kind of taxes do all employees pay?

In 2019, about 46.6 percent of U.S. households with an income between 40,000 and 50,000 U.S. dollars paid no income taxes.Apr 23, 2020

    BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Thanks for the laugh, America's Self-Appointed Spokesman. That was almost as hilarious as your signature. Then again, now that I think about it, not even close, but I digress...

Oh! Guess what else is funny?

Just this morning I happened to be thinking "what would a "progressive" bill of "rights" would look like?", and it would look like this....

    THE 'PROGRESSIVE" BILL OF "RIGHTS"

    ARTICLE 1
Everyone has the "right" to "free" sh*t

    ARTICLE 2
Everyone has the "right" to mooch what they aren't willing to earn and pay for themselves

    Etc., etc...

When he said we will pay for it, he excluded himself. Trust me on that.

This experiment was used in Arkansas when Huckabee was then their Governor.
He got sick of Democrats pretending they want to pay more taxes so he set up a system all could use wanting to pay more state taxes.
It flunked. People did not want themselves to pay more taxes, they wanted others to pay higher taxes.
And they call others paying their taxes fairly taxed. Amusing.

That is one bizarre site you're citing.

Anyway, why try to blame tax loopholes and low tax rates that Republicans refuse to fix on "leftists" (whatever that even means) or socialism?

Wing nut propaganda only appeals to lukewarm I.Q.s at this point.

    Oh, I believe you, brother...

LMAO - I didn't hear about Huckabee's experiment. Priceless.

And who/what is stopping these Champagne Socialists from giving more of their money to the U.S. Treasury, hmmm???

Is there some mysterious force in the Universe that we don't know about that is preventing them from putting their money where their mouths are?

The report is on wing nut LW propaganda sites like The Guardian and CNBC so lukewarm IQs on the Left can read it:

Huckabee now seems ancient as a Governor of Arkansas. I used to follow him as much as I could when I lived in Ca.
Democrats love to want others higher taxed so long as it is not them paying those taxes.

You know why the big 6 do not object to taxes on themselves?
    1. They are experts at using so called loop holes.
    2. They take money from others so when they hand it to the Feds, they understand it is the common man paying taxes and they collect billions so it is of little concern to them at the time.

We on the left have been advocating for corps and the wealthy to pay higher taxes. And it seems the right doesn't like that idea. So this post makes no sense to me - I don't care if the corps or the wealthy individual votes right or left - I want them to pay more. The question is, do you?

Do this and I will gladly listen to you.

    Oprah Winfrey

    Do you know her story?
    She grew up poor.

Explain why you want her, a Democrat to pay a hell of a lot more taxes than she now pays?

You on the Left have had ample opportunity to close the loopholes that many of us on the Right have also been in favor of closing. Why haven't you?

Of course, that is an entirely separate issue from the hypocrisy of "progressive" corporate SJWs...
