    Me personally, part of the reason why we were in this mess in the first place is because private money donations from various special interest groups simply have too much influence. It has corrupted good governance. There needs to be some real and genuine campaign finance reform which puts into check the the influence and power of special interest group money so that government may govern competently and by what is best for the national interest rather than the special interests:

    Great way to save on campain spending. The broadcast media moguls will not like that. Less koochie for the media to stick their fingers in.

    I'm not much of a corporate supporter. But I know trickle down economics does not work. In this case, trickle up unemployment and no spending is working.

    Political donations should come with strings attached.
