15 year old who “swatted” gamer convicted of 25 years to life in prison

What many teenagers these days are considering a harmless prank, has landed one online gamer in more trouble than he could have ever imagined.
15-year-old Paul Horner is the first person in history to be charged with what is known as ‘swatting‘, a growing trend in which a person anonymously files a false police report, such as a murder or bomb threat, in hopes of provoking the police to raid an individual’s home or business. it downloaded fine for me. I think at 15 this kid deserves to be jailed he is old enough to know better life is waaay to much so isn't 25 years . 1 year with 100 percent restitution for damages and to pay for the cops involvement

cops screwed up, someone has to pay.... and that someone will be the one that set the cops on that path

if you sick a dog on someone and that someone gets hurt, it's on you - making a false report is no different

Get on twitch.tv and watch pro gamers stream and you'll occasionally see a swatting. I was watching when the OpTic house got raided and I must say it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
