1619 or 1776?

    The racebaiters of today are claiming that the U.S. began in 1619 and is an evil country today because we were founded on the basis of slavery. They point to the fact that even the Constitution stated that blacks were only 3/5ths of a white person when it comes to being a human being. That the founding fathers were racists and therefore the U.S. is a racist nation today. Systemic racism is in all forms of our government. I find this video informative and think that all liberals should listen, study and learn.

    It was actually the Northerners who wanted to not count slaves in apportionment, so that the South would have less representation in Congress. Today's corollary is Democrats wanting to count Hondurans in our apportionment formula so they can grow their power in Congress.

    I believed she said this because slavery would never had ended. And, if there was no compromise, there would be two countries instead of a United States of America. She is correct.
