So, it looks like Israel existed all along. Isn't history wonderful? 1939 Palestinian Flag. What does it look like? Surprised?
Lol, the haters will either be totally mum, or ignore reality and make more ridiculous claims about Israel, the U.N., etc.
Not that surprising... The symbol is known in Arabic as نجمة داوود, Najmat Dāwūd (Star of David) or خاتم سليمان Khātem Sulaymān (Seal of Solomon), but "Seal of Solomon" may also refer to a pentagram or a species of plant. In various places in the Qur'an, it is written that David and King Solomon (Arabic, Suliman or Sulayman) were prophets and kings and therefore they are revered figures by Muslims. The Medieval pre-Ottoman Anatolian beyliks of the Karamanids and Jandarids used the star on their flag. The symbol also used on Hayreddin Barbarossa flag. Even today, the star can be found in mosques and on other Arabic and Islamic artifacts.
The only reason it was even called Palestine was because of the Roman province of Syria Palaestina. Syria Palaestina | Wikipedia.org
A little bit has changed in the lady 75 years. You also don't see many Charlie Chaplin mustaches or swastikas either.
and was never the official flag of the Confederacy either..... but it does have a significance to the CSA....
Nor do you ever see the star of David affiliated with Islamic Palestine, despite your uncited claims. Zionists, on the other hand, adopted the star of David in 1897 as their flag and symbol to rally support. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_of_David
