When Harry Potter books first started making the rounds, I was amazed at who I saw reading them. I often visit factories and would see crusty old maintenance guys who probably hadn't read a book in 30 years, reading Harry Potter at lunch and on breaks. Indeed, J. K. Rowling is credited with inspiring more people to read than anyone in history. I would argue that isn't quite true. I would argue that title goes to Johannes Gutenberg.
