Proving a dangerous bias, the media have remained eerily silent on the horrific events that occurred on June 2. In a shameless bid to protect their leftist agenda, news outlets have given only vague details of the disturbing case, however, an outraged neighbor has come forward with the full story. KMVT reported on June 7 that a sexual assault occurred near the Fawnbrook Apartment complex in Twin Falls, Idaho. Only stating that no charges have been filed, according to prosecutor Grant Loebs, the station concludes that allegations are swirling on social media from an eye witness. Although theyve done well not to give any hint of who the perpetrators are, why theyre being investigated, or who the victim is, a neighbor has broken the silence out of pure indignance over the authorities handling of the case. - Source` ****************` When I post a story, I try to vet or fact check it. In this case, the sources are mainly from the right of center. No "liberal' sources. Not unusual but no matter what side it is on, did the incident actually occur and can be considered as factual. However, in vetting the story, I also ran across this from Snopes; Twin Falls Refugee Assault This is where things get dicey and biased as they rated the story, mostly false when it is in fact, mostly True. Scopes biased approach to this incident hinges on two things; They were not Syrian and they were not refugees. I could see from reading other releases on this incident that there was confusion as to the origin of these people. Nonetheless, the incident did take place as they confirmed in their own story, to wit; ".....did take place at the Fawnbrook Apartment complex in Twin Falls, Idaho, on 2 June 2016 involving a five-year-old girl, a seven-year-old boy, a ten-year-old boy, and a 14-year-old boy. Loebs said that the three boys were of Middle Eastern descent, but they were not Syrian and he had no information indicating they were refugees." So the incident did take place but where they came from and why they were here is unknown by even the police and prosecutor. TheTwin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs, went on to say; fan the flames of anti-Syrian refugee people. However, if they were middle eastern, where did they come from? Why were they here? Neither the police and scopes knew where and why as a fact, which means that they don't know....that being the case, how could they positively say "they were not Syrians? Aside from those two questionable points, the entire incident was true and factual. How could snopes say it is "mostly false" when in fact, it's mostly True. You are seeing PC bias in action here.
Good job at actually running down the story and checking it out on your own. I had seen the story but hadn't really read about it. So I had no reason to think they were not Syrian refugees. Although the fact that no one seems to know where they came from is a lot more troubling.
