It doesn't matter what the Left MSM tries to do, this is a HUUUUGE loss for Leftists/Democrats.

From every facet of life that is controlled by Leftists, we are seeing fantastical attempts to curb right of expression and freedom of speech. Sure, you can say Twitter has whatever right to ban whoever and you are correct, but the concentrated effort to suppress ideas is something that is being seen by the entire nation .... and they hate it.

All this will do is make a martyr out of Alex Jones and drive his subscriptions through the roof, apparently the app is being downloaded more than CNN right now.

These "wins" from Leftists are losing more and more votes and have been since 2010. I don't know what is going to get Democrats to understand that these tactics are a bad idea.

 

Genuine progressives will be targeted as well. Anyone who challenges the US government's imperialist regime will be singled out for censorship, intimidation, and even imprisonment.

 

The powers that be are becoming increasingly desperate. They see their monopoly on information slipping away in the internet age. The election of Trump shook them to their core. And now that their "regime change" campaign in Syria failed, they are slowly coming to the realization that the international order is no longer unipolar. They are like an animal that is slowly being backed into a corner.

Google doesn't work for Alex Jones -- nor does he work for Google -- free exchange, if he doesn't want to abide by their guidelines, he can try a different route

 

The censorship on this site is controlled by the site's administrator...It is a private ownership and they can set what ever rules they want. If you don't like the rules, then my suggestion would be to type into google "political message boards" and find a different site....My question goes for the government censoring unpopular speech...We saw under Obama a push for just that very thing against conservative talk radio. It didn't succeed. But that doesn't change the fact...Judging from your OP, which I was clear I don't really care about Jones, I think he's a nut, but we have freedom of speech in this country. If this were the government shutting his platform down would you speak out against it? Or, would the same loaded OP have appeared with your approval?
