"Dover MP calls for 'urgent surveillance'"

These people paid traffickers about 3 thousand pounds in cash each for their journey, so from where are they getting this kind of money? It can only be from the French government.

"A Home Office spokesperson told Euronews the small boat contained men, women and children, and that the group was transferred to immigration officials to be interviewed."

What's to be gained by 'interviewing' them ffs? What kind of questions are they being asked anyway? And what will now happen to them?

yeah its a pain...but I can imagine there's a whole truck load of questions that the Border Force would want answers to, starting with the hell who are you, where did you come from and how did you get here...

And how did you acquire that very expensive dinghy which is large enough to accommodate 34 people, and how did you find those thousands of £s to pay the traffickers? When you think about it, all they'd need is a cheapo inflatable like those we see in WW2 movies which survivors of sunken ships take to, (probably get one for a few smackeroonies), row it a mile or two off the French coast, make a mobile phone call - they all seem to have mobile phones? - and next thing they know, a Royal Navy warship turns up to take them aboard, transport them the rest of the way, and finally pass them over to the BF to be er, interviewed. And they're in!! Any more for the (HMS) Skylark?
