I don't know, put it into perspective. What kind of subsidies are Big Oil receiving? How much of my tax dollar is going to the carrier task forces needed to keep the Gulf open and protect the tankers? How much of my tax dollar goes to cleaning up the Alaskan and Gulf coasts after an oopsie? How much am I going to have to spend on Keystone so that the refiners can ship that shale oil crap abroad?

How much money does the U.S. government provide to support the oil, gas and coal industries?

    This comes from http://priceofoil.org/fossil-fuel-subsidies/

And oil provides a far larger percentage of energy than does solar! And that does not include the vital use in transportation which solar can never equal. Go look in your fridge and tell us how much of that comes to you thanks to petroleum products.

how much did we spend on oil Subsidies?

how many wars started over oil, how much to maintain the military to defend it?

alternative energy is where we should be investing, oil is oil and needs little new investments
