Search the term I missed it in one response to me. Now are you hear to debate or not?

Oh I see, so you only read posts that are to you only? Are you going to stop lying?

Same answer I've given before. Obviously it's just the first one you read.

You are free to disagree. Obviously you want me to spend my tax dollars on your kid because you can't afford to do it by yourself. I don't want to do that. You want to force me to do that because you feel entitled to my tax dollars. I disagree.

I have no problem with you spending your education tax dollars as you like. I just don't like being forced to pay for your kid's private education at a madrasa or whatever private school you choose.

Your tax dollars is spent on my kid anyway so why do you care where I choose to spend it. You seem to think public schools give more bang for the buck so send your kids to those schools. Some of us pay taxes just like you but we think a better bang for the buck is in private schools. We don't want to force our opinions on you so why do you want to force yours on us?

You forget we all pay taxes not just you and the conversation should be about society not me. I have grandkids in school not kids. I had kids in school for 15 years and have paid taxes for nearly 50 years so I think I have skin in the game here with taxes.

If you want to send your kids to private school then send them. What's stopping you?

You are not entitled to my tax dollars no matter how you spin it nor how many times you keep coming back this.

Come on and admit it, you are not different than a welfare queen. You feel entitled to my tax dollars and just want me to shut up and give it to you no questions asked.

Yes, and I vote on how those taxes should be spent. Scroll up and see where I not only voted that I'm against paying for your kid's private school education and would vote against it but also that I do support you having your education tax dollars returned to spend on alternative education. Do you remember those posts or will you claim you "missed" them?

Never said a thing about teachers and the law.

    Continuation school, prison or military.

They can't compete. The playing field isn't level.
As has been explained. The private schools pick and choose their students.

    Um, no.
No reason to stay in this thread anymore. Pure lunacy is being spouted by RW.

    Don't be silly.
A class of 20, reduced 10% to 18, is not going to make the class room sizes consolidate.
Other than a few of your list, all other overhead costs remain.

Only if you can find a way to homogenate their ages and educational needs as well as restructure the physical facility.

    Sounds like fantasyland to me

What we have here is the defining difference between liberals and conservatives. You are happy to tell me how tax dollars slated for education must be spent when it comes to my child. I on the other hand am happy to let you make your decisions on educating your kids and would never tell you what school I think your kids should go too. I can explain my position with a belief in personal freedom and small government while you seem to believe government knows best and they or maybe you should decide what type of school our kids go too. Not much to say beyond this I guess but it's an interesting contrast in the thinking process of liberals and conservatives.

You can't seem to grasp the big picture. Not a class of 20 but a school of 3000. Reduce that by 10% 20% or 50% and you can reduce teachers by the same number or do you think there's no correlation between student body size and the number of teachers in the school?

I'll ask you the same question as above. Do you think there's no correlation between student body size and number of tescteac in a school? If a public school lost half it's students to private schools do you think they would need the same number of teachers?

When the govt starts doling out money to each citizen to be used towards the services they would like to utilize THEN you can choose how to spend money on your kids education. But until that happens you'll just have to pay for private school on your own.

I don't use public transportation, should I be able to get that money back from the govt so I can spend it on Ubers instead? Shouldn't I be able to use whatever transportation I choose?
I never use police services, can I get that money back so I can spend it on other services that I feel are better than law enforcement? Shouldn't that be my choice?
    <sarcasm off>

60% of americans believe that Noah's ark was a historical fact...I love history but not everyone does and if 11% aren't aware of historical detail that doesn't concern them that's not a big deal...
