4 West Point cadets were among many who over dosed on cocaine tainted with fentanyl while enjoying spring break in Florida. Is this the type of individuals we should be using taxpayer money to educate in our military academies??? Or the type of people we want as future leaders of our military?? One of those hospitalized was a member of the West Point football team. I suggest we need to do a better job screening applicants to our academies.

This is strange coming from someone who seems to be a liberal according to his posting history. I thought liberals were all about recreational drug use. I mean, liberals even build statues glorifying drug users.

But I'm on board... no druggies in the military on the taxpayer dime, but let's take it even further - no one gets welfare unless they can pass a drug test at any time. And you can't vote unless you can pass a drug test. Sounds good to me.

I am definitely not in favor of drugs including many prescribed by doctors.

It now turns out that 6 cadets were treated not just 4. Two of the cadets claim they were infected by trying to administer mouth to mouth resuscitation on two of the 4 who actually used the drugs. The news is reporting now that they are all members of the West Point football team.
