In an unprecedented move, 50 high ranking past and current GOP officials have signed a letter saying Donald Trump would be a national security risk and a danger to the moral fabric of this nation. This is crazy.

Nope, just Republicans admitting what everyone else already knows. Crazy to hear though.

The problem is millions of "nobodies", like me, fear a continuation of Obama policy, especially with regards to "National Security", would continue the Nations CURRENT security problems and there are plenty. Aside from that, us "nobodies" are sick and tired of establishment politics, those that may be out of work, as pundits and advocates, as an administration, listens to the people, not those being paid to advocate.

what I find fascinating, is people who demean and belittle a certain political party, suddenly tell us which members of that party we should suddenly listen to... but that support doesn't wean any further than a single issue, they will go back to demeaning and belittling them on the countless other issues the person doesn't agree on... so why suddenly are these people, people we should listen to, if moments ago and in the very near future they are people we should all kick out of office during election time?

you see the irony? you want us to vote them out of office in november, but you want us to listen to them now because they support a single thing beneficial for you?

It's more like, "Their own party can't agree on Trump, so Trump is obviously a disaster".

lol...they're running that story over and over again on the major news networks. Hilarious.

The list that signed against him are serious right-wingers....

Gotta love that party unity...he hasn't even made it close to a month after the crappy RNC convention.

It's not so crazy if you think about how much money the wealthy financiers of our government will lose if Trump gets elected AND repeals NAFTA. There are billions in corporate profits at stake here. Nothing is "off the table" at this point. How could we possibly get behind a candidate that would dare suggest that we raise all workers salaries by stopping foreign imports? Hell, we spent so much money offshoring all of the existing jobs so our companies could leverage slave labor in China. Billions have been made by our patriotic wealthy elite. This is what Hillary, and the rest of Amerika want !!!

Their opinion is noted and ignored as we watch Obama and Hillary light the middle east on fire, then openly inviting those"refugees" in, and putting us directly at risk, and of course not being bothered with inconveniences like secure email.

We've already been put at risk by the irresponsible Obama and Hillary regime. A new direction is needed, not more of the same.

They have to, Trump didnt fall for their tired playbook today and didnt give them any soundbytes. Shame they dont actually have a campaign that can thrive off of itself, but requires the other guy shooting himself in the foot.

LOL...many former Bush cronies..figures. They don't want to upset the status quo anymore than the liberal press.
Hillary Clinton has, as SoS, put at risk our country’s national security and well-being, and these Bush buds don't give two (*)(*)(*)(*)s about that. They'd rather have an unhealthy establishment Dem with a rapist husband in the WH than someone who'd turn DC on it's ear and expose the BS these "so called servants of the people" have dumped on us. 'F" Bush & his 50 "top security advisers", whoever they are. They're protecting the status quo, not the country.

Establishment politicians fear Trump for the same reasons. The R party just like the D party is afraid of Trump.
Just like those who who are allowed to fool the welfare system without a second thought.
    Trump inspires greatness.
Those that have become used to living in mediocrity fear Trump the most.
Those who love their unborn grandchildren love the fact that Trump is making light of the greed that exist in both parties.
Or, you can just support Hillary wanting to increase the refugee intake by 500%

I didn't know Trump had a personal unsecure server with classified information on it ripe to be hacked. When did that happen?

I do see the irony. There are a lot of ironies, inconsistencies and downright hypocrisies in politics. But only on the other side ;)

And of course her early estimate of 1.3 Trillion in new taxes. When is the last time one of these predictions came in on or under budget?

LOL..it will "unexpectedly" rise of course if given the office.

Crazy isnt it? When a candidate who HAS put National Security at risk is running....and yet we hear people speculating the other guy "might"?

How bout we eliminate the one who HAS and try out the other option.

The beauty of this is that the more trump fails to address it properly and insult these guys, the more he plays right into their hands.

This letter wasn't designed to sway trump cultists...nothing could.

This letter was designed to sway real conservatives and independents. And trump not dealing with it like a man and instead acting like a whiny little toddler is going to ensure that their point hits home.

    Thank you patriots...nice letter...well done!

It is encouraging to know that some members of the GOP actually possess rational judgement.

Unfortunately you self-described "nobodies" nominated a total buffoon as an answer so here we are, staring down four more years of the thing you say you're trying to avoid. So many options on the table, yet you went with this guy, the one candidate who will lose to Hillary!

It's more like, trump isn't a member of the club, the false duopoly will morph into voltron combining forces to eliminate any possible threat to upsetting the general order of the ruling elites club.

The "progressive" RINO's are taking their masks off and showing their true colors.

And look at who the article names. Hayden, Negroponte, Ridge, Chertoff - All big proponents of the police state and war, nobody wants their support.

They are Bush neo-cons. Their approval isn't wanted. Trump instantly gains credibility as they reject him.
