As if we needed more reasons to believe that neocons are so far removed from reality that they have managed to create a new plane of delusional existence. Instead of trying to come up with legitimate complaints and risk having to think of their own solutions, out friends on the right continue to spew out ridiculous buzzwords and work their ignorant followers into a frenzied ODS circle jerk.

I think it's your side which is far removed from reality. Only the first comment could even be considered titillating. The others were quite on point.

Yes, quite on point in an alternate delusional reality where imperial communist kings are democratically elected and cannot get laws passed without a bicameral congressional branch.

    lolwut?

Tell me specifically - other than #1; I'll grant you that one (even though I agree with it in entirety) - what is your issue with the rest? Your specific response comment here seems to take issue with #3. The problem is that Obama explicitly STATED that he'd go around Congress if they didn't comply.

Congress has flat out refused to do anything with the president. The GOP will not work with the president in any way, shape or form. They have flat out said it. If they won't cooperate then he has every right to do what he can on his own. He won't magically acquire super powers that make him able to "bypass congress" and pass legislation and turn the United States into a socialist wonderland. He is still only has the limited solo powers afforded to the executive branch, and his every move will be under scrutiny of congress, the people, and the SCOTUS. If you think that is "imperial" or makes him a "king" than you have no (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idea what those things are. I suggest Wikipedia.

As for the others, why the (*)(*)(*)(*) would he bring up benghazi? And if you think the temperature in Georgia means that global warming isn't real, than you have the neural activity of a root vegetable. And why Karl rove thinks he has the balls to open his mouth to ANYONE is beyond me.

But the fact that you agree with statement that Obama is a "socialist dictator" proves not only that you have no idea what "imperial means" but that you also have no idea what socialists or dictators are. You're just showing you are willingly living in the alternate reality.

The craziest was the State of the Union itself.

I don't seem to recall the president calling anyone names.

Calling someone a the "kommandant-in-chief" is (*)(*)(*)(*)ing crazy. Calling for equal pay is not

Then he needs to find some common ground and compromise which he will not do in any way, shape or form.

    Absolute complete and total bull(*)(*)(*)(*).

Just today the farm bill passed with 800 million in food stamp cuts.

Since day one of Obama's presidency the GOP has made their number one priority to make Obama a one term president. Now that that has failed miserably their only interest is to pointlessly vote to repeal Obamacare, wasting time and taxpayer money.

What does POTUS have to do with the 956 billion dollar farm bill that is in effect for the next decade?

United States was already on pace to spend $972.9 billion on these programs over the next decade. So the bill before Congress would technically cut spending, relative to that baseline, by about $16.5 billion.

This is a act of Congress.

Well he has to (*)(*)(*)(*)ing sign it doesn't he? He could just up and veto that (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) if he wanted to. Do you think he is happy about 800 million a year in food stamp cuts?

He should just veto the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) thing until we stop subsidizing so many corn and soy crops and focus on more important crops like fruits and vegetables. But Monsanto would never go for that.

Do you really think Obama had nothing to do with drafting the farm bill? Because he's been pushing for it for the past year and has threatened to veto it in its past forms.

The world used to suffer from major famines. To counter that companies such as Monsanto were encouraged to develop new crop varieties that could feed the world's growing population and eliminate world hunger. So they did. We now import food from China and from India, both of which used to experience massive famines. Consider the farm bill expense as payment to those companies for solving a major problem.

Boy, this is original, a thread whining about Rep's not praising Obama.
Seriously, the tweets you referenced are pretty soft criticisms of the president, so for heavens sake stop whining.

The problem isn't their criticism, but why they hate Obama. Their anger and condescending tener of their words doesn't seem like it's rooted in political divide but more of a "you ain't my president, boy" mentality.

He made it clear from day one it would be his way or the highway. I can't blame Republicans for choosing the highway and fighting his cockamamie agenda every step of the way. It's why we the people booted 69 Democrats out of Congress in 2010.

But not why you the people couldn't get him out of office in 2012. Because the people trusted Republicans LESS then Obama.

Perhaps there is a message somewhere you & the neo-cons are missing.

Pretty sad that the Republicans couldn't win an easy election in 2012 against a man with a terrible approval rating.

Perhaps you should read the thread. The point certainly isn't that the cons didn't "praise Obama", but that instead of coming up with legitimate complaints or offering up alternative solutions, they just coughed up more ridiculous buzzwords that they clearly don't know the meaning of.

It should be 10 years in prison and a $1M fine for any politician to have a twitter account. Nothing against the twitter, but elected officials should not be allowed hit and run comments. Oh, I would let them plead down though, to publically licking jell-o out of .......... (to be determine by a jury of their political enemies).

Take a month off from posting and study the constitution and how and why the U.S. government was set up the way it was and then perhaps you will grasp why it's a baaaaaaaaaaaad thing for any president of either party to RULE the nation via Executive Orders. But really, they should have taught you that much in school.
