7 whoppers peddled by House Democrats' Jan. 6 committee

House Democrats' Jan. 6 committee has showcased numerous false allegations over the course of its hearings and investigations that have since been debunked and, in some cases, withdrawn.

The committee, which is made up of Democrats and two anti-Trump Republicans handpicked by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, has promoted inaccuracies and falsehoods regarding people and events in weaving its narrative about the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, even refusing to back down from some of its allegations despite contradictory evidence. Below are seven whoppers that the committee has peddled to the American public:

1. Trump incited the riot: The second impeachment of former President Trump was based on Democrats' claim that Trump incited the Capitol riot with his speech at the Jan. 6 "Stop the Steal" rally at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. The Democrats are still promoting this claim in the Jan. 6 committee, despite abundant evidence to the contrary. The intelligence community learned more than two weeks prior to the riot that there would potentially be violence on Jan. 6. Trump didn't meet the legal threshold for incitement, and, according to the timeline of events, the Capitol was breached before Trump's speech ended.….

7. This hard news current event story is going to make the secular progressive elites and their friends wet themselves. The truth that counters their lies is hard for them to accept and reconcile themselves too. The committee is nothing but a bunch of bs artists.

 

The star chamber kangaroo court has been exposed to reality and the truth.

 

3. if kerik was not there why does this matter. i don't know why the committee thought he was there, but how serious is this?

7. the steering wheel story was offered as hearsay. how important is it to the overalls narrative? secret service is not normally called to testify.

4, 5, and 6. are supported by sworn testimony. the excuses made by perry (4) loudermilk (5) and johnson (6) are not.

that leaves 1. did trump incite the riot? the oath keepers sure thought so . the proud boys consider trump their leader. roger stone has taken the proud boy membership oath and had plenty of communications with trump, and the militias for those weeks when this was planned. there is more evidence that trump was involved in this conspiracy than there ever was that osama bin laden ordered 9/11.

and 2. there is a little controversy regarding the national guard. i'm sure that trump or patel could clear it up by testifying.

 

I don’t know why democrats are doing this (yes I do) when they ignored, allowed and encouraged violent and deadly riots in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Baltimore, New York, Ferguson, and many other places where private and government property was destroyed.

 

In January we will have hearings on all those riots and events. Also we will find out why there wasn’t better security at the capital that day. Today’s democrats will rue the day that they launched subpoenas upon other house members. It will be great seeing Schiff, Swalwell, and Omar with no committee assignments next year.

personally, have all the hearings you want, i don't mind if any guilty bastards get grilled. i watched the cruz hearings on c span. did fox or news max report them? didn't think so

 

The house hearings on the actions of the speaker and the current committee would be worth watching too.

I saw a story a few moments ago where republicans are already preparing for those hearings. Upon learning that I’m sure democrats will soon be hyping the monkey pox virus and print millions of mail in ballots.

 

No, they will introduce the next bad strain of covid late September early October and get lord Fauci to hyperventilate about it and demand new mask and vaccine mandates and renewed social distancing so as to make in person voting illegal in blue cities. Then the Fix will be in.
