The federal government sent incorrect tax information to about 800,000 people who purchased health insurance last year through HealthCare.gov and asked them to delay filing their returns, Obama administration officials said Friday.

That's impossible. The President said the system is working better than anticipated. Ahahahahah. Just one more fail. OMG. Mixing one's income with their health coverage is insane. Its basically allowing the government to use your health to control you.

But our Liberal friends said this is the 'best' we can come up with! Laughable, you could gather a non-partisan think tank of economists, health experts and some citizen input(indeed: Mail at least 100 citizens who are covered from each income bracket to get a wide-range of opinions) to come up with a much better plan.

Which is all this is, an economic planning of health care. Insurance has been around for about a century. And it'll still be around, this is about economic utilization and our Liberal friends hate economics, remember? Since they hate it, they cannot possibly come up with a strategy that works within the thesis of economics.

Me? I studied economics as a business major. So I know that if it were left to me, we would have a much better plan. Starting off with accepting the notion that we don't need 100% coverage, we just need a majority covered with economic incentives for the rest to eventually either be covered or to be paid in full without needing to saturate the market place.

The mandate wasn't only Anti-American, it was anti-consumerism as well. If it weren't for the Cap, prices would explode like mad. And we learned that government-subsidies won't last forever, but scheduled to end at around 2017. If that happens, companies will be stuck footing the bill as only those who already could afford health care will buy it.

This is maddening stupid, and it can only come from Washington. And some advocate 'single-payer' from these dolts? Your government is neither that loyal nor that intelligent.

Headline could just as easily be: Federal government corrects clerical error, asks 800,000 to delay filing taxes.

This isn't a big deal unless you are obsessed with looking for reasons to hate health care reform.

It is. And the next thing on the agenda is universal health care.

You don't have to look, they just present themselves. This law has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with income/wealth redistribution. Everyone always had access to health care, Democrats just want control who they deem worthy, you know because they know better than everyone else.

The solution is simple. You pay a cpa to straighten it out for you.

THANK YOU. Am I the only one who notices that the particulars of this is nothing more than the economic organization of health care? And that when you judge, purely on those lens its a horrible bill. Never should've passed Congress, never should've been legalized by the SCOTUS. The American People don't believe in mandates, the authoritarianism is not granted anywhere in the Constitution.

Laws are made to be respected, not enforced by diktat. This was NOT Soviet Russia.

its a bug that will be fixed. Seems that none of you work in technology fields or you would understand that this happens all the time with complex integration projects. It will pass and then you will have another hissy fit about something else. Does rooting for failure make you a better American?

That's what the Obama administration officials are suggesting.

"Anyone who received a wrong tax form but has already filed their tax return is being advised to consult a tax professional."

Sounds to me like it will trigger a lot of audits.

You don't have an Obama Care policy do you?

I do not, do you? And what exactly is the harm here? A loss of subsidy while they straighten it out? Still better than no insurance at all...please explain why this means something horrible to anyone and maybe I will give it some thought. Until then, sounds like another right wing hissy fit over nothing to me.

Yes I do. I'm working part time 27 hours a week and have an Obama Care Enhanced Silver plan. Folks without an Obama Care policy have no idea how vastly different it is compared to insurance policies they have from the very same company. I actually have an Obama Care "Silver" plan. I live in a Rural area with a small/medium size hospital and 3 medical groups, 1 large and 2 small. The hospital accepts my policy but the 1 large medical group that staffs the hospital doctors does NOT. That means if I'm hospitalized my policy coverages with deductible and yearly out of pocket applies to the Hospital's bill but not the Doctors who would be out of network and covered only 30%. Since the Doctors and Facilities in the area accept Obama Care policies from just 2 providers, the networks are very important. Provider #1's insurance covers a number of doctors in my area, but if I need services like X-Ray, MRI and such I have to drive 45 miles down a mountain road if I don't want to pay 70% of the bill. Provider #2's insurance covers a number of facilities in my area so if I need services like X-Ray, MRI and such they are available locally, however if I want to see a doctor I have to drive 45 miles down a mountain road if I don't want to pay 70% of the bill. With the Obama Crap plan, I have to make a 90 mile round trip for a stinking X-Ray. Since I live in the mountains, the road to the flat lands isn't always available so if I need an X-Ray I'm just (*)(*)(*)(*) outta luck and have to pay the 70%. AND the insurance provider raise my premium 33% as of Jan 1st 2015. The only plus I've experienced is the prescription coverage, I pay $5 for everything. However, since all my meds are generic I paid $9 at Wal-Mart without insurance.

Well, sometimes it costs a bundle to live in the sticks. I would suggest moving into town.

Well that's one option...OR....we can sit back, do nothing and watch Hillary drag her support of Obama Care like a millstone around her neck on the campaign trail. Option 2 requires less cardboard boxes so I think I pick that one.
