BTW, this graph stops in July, but in fact, October was hotter....waaaay hotter. 2015 is certain to take the 'hottest year on record' title away from 2014, which surpassed the previous record holders, 2010 and 2005. The last five years are the hottest five year period on record and 14 of the 15 hottest years on record have happened since the turn of the century in 2000.

LOL, satellite data, the data that is considered more accurate, now falls outside of all climate runs. Boy, that is accuracy for you. They sure underestimated that.

 

A common indicator of pseudoscience is spurious precision, for example, when a result is given with a number of digits exceeding any plausible estimate of the associated accuracy. Hottest year is one of them, the amount are given in such small numbers that uncertainty exceeds the claim.

This year, the only reason for a 'hottest year' is the El Nino water temperatures in the data set used by the government which is the least accurate and most adjusted data set, always making the present warmer and the past cooler every adjustment. Other than that, we have some of the coldest air temperatures in other regions.

Hasn't warmed at all this century according to the satellite records. According to the IPCC only the CO2 from the 50's on is consequential and 1/2 of last centuries warming happened before that.

It helps when the temperature data set is changed again to make the present warmer.

Well, since the land/ocean temperature data set used by government has had every adjustment make the past cooler and the present warmer to the point now of saying there never was an hiatus when all other data sets say otherwise, you decide for yourself.

 

Well, the adjustaments were to correct known biases on the data: like when the instruments change and they don't measure exactly the same. Haven't you ever had a balance that had to be adjusted?

At least it's what they say and publish. Or you think it's a conspiracy by the scientists? Tell me something unrelated, who do you think is responsible by 9/11?

 

Government then ignores the two government satellite temperature records considered better and also the only data set that needs no adjustment, the USCRN. Ask yourself why.
