    1. God ordained leadership... Well if that were the case the world would not be in the shape it is in. God will not force Himself on the Godless. The US is a Godless nation. We are now choosing our own destiny without Gods hand on the helping side.

We have turned our collective backs on God. He is letting us learn just as He let Israel learn; the hard way.

Incompetent leadership, homosexuality and other sexual immorality every way you turn.

    2. The Lord is calling me to... I have heard this so many times when people are choosing to do what they want. Sure we are directed many times but it is not necessarily the hand of God doing the directing. Sometime people just begin to sound disingenuous. I mean it is really funny how many times the Lord calls some people. People just seem to think that it helps others not to see their inequities. Stop using God as a crutch because it is akin to using his name in vein. God is not an excuse you can invoke every time you mess up. Take some responsibility for your own actions and stop blaming God.

There is ONLY one thing that gets on my nerves more than 'wishy-washy' ppl, those who have no firm convictions, and that is 'whiners,' those who stay in their rut, & wallow in self-pity.

But I'm pretty much with you on your opine. God told me to say that....;)

Nothing happens outside of God's plan.........so what may seem hopeless to man God can and will use for His glory. Not even death can prevent God from reaching the unrepentant dead and cause them to praise Him for His mercy and love.

    Psalms 22:27-29 (ASV)
27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto Jehovah; And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
28 For the kingdom is Jehovah's; And he is the ruler over the nations.
29 All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship: All they that go down to the dust shall bow before him, Even he that cannot keep his soul alive.

I think you may have missed my point. For #2 I am saying I am sick of people using God as an excuse to do what they will. The fact is they are doing as they please with the free will that has been given them. I have seen some people pull this crap using it as a crutch. They can't hold a job or are just too lazy to go to work and get fired and say well it was not Gods will...

I saw a guy make the statement that he was not cut out for manual labor so he knew God was calling him to the ministry. He told the preacher and everyone that he was going to school for it. He quit because he could not handle the work. A couple of weeks later the preacher announces that he is going for a divinity degree. OOPS he never bothered to tell him that it was not so.

Then those who are true should stand up and make themselves known and seen. In that way when the charlatans present themselves they will be seen for who they are.

Where’re going to have people like that but you can't let it bother you. The problem that I have noticed in a lot of Churches is that they preach a lot about Jesus but they don't teach that Christians are to live the way Jesus lived.....we are to be truthful and honest with ourselves and with all people. It’s not enough to know about Jesus we need to live the things that He taught or else this is what He is going to say to us....And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:23 (KJV)

There are too many pastors who would rather tell the congregation what he thinks they would like to hear than what they need to hear. So it should not come as a surprise if some Christians are no better than an unbeliever in how they live. But an assistant pastor once told me is this, if you see something that no one else sees it is because God wants you to do something about it. So if you see a problem or a situation that is not being addressed, it is your responsibility to address it. I have myself have brought certain things to the attention of the Pastor in the Church that I attend, and a week later something was done about it. So nothing will change if we just sit by and complain about it……we need to be proactive.
