This article does a pretty good job of laying out exactly how the case that Russia hacked the DNC was established. We have a single private company hired by the DNC, CrowdStrike, establishing the connection between the DNC "hack" and the Russian government.. The CTO and founder of this company is a vehemently anti-Russian Ukrainian and sits on the same think tank as Dr. Farkas of MSNBC fame. This think tank, The Atlantic Council, is also one of the leading anti-Russian think tanks in the US. Are we to trust CyberStrikes analysis when it comes to Russia? I wouldn't.

CrowdStrike has had to walk back their claims of Russia hacking Ukrainian Artillery already. This claim serves as the basis of their "high confidence" that Russia hacked the DNC. Well without the Ukranian Artillery claim anymore how can they justify their claim of "high confidence". The answer is that they cant. This claim was their evidence for linking the DNC hack to Russian Military.

While most were focused on Comey and Rodgers when the Monday closed door meeting was canceled there was also something else that the committee wanted. They wanted to talk to the CrowdStrike executives directly. For moths Comey has been telling the committee how great CrowdStrike is and that their analysis can be trusted. It seems the committee is now no longer so sure that CrowdStrike is a fair reliable player in this with their Ukrainian Artillery attribution falling apart. Mind you the Ukrainian Attribution claim was falling apart as Comey was telling congress how great CrowdStrike is.

I'm sure the leftists on the forum will attack the source despite it being a left-wing anti-war site.

Think your title is the reason more members aren't discussing this. Maybe re-name and re-post?

Assange still maintains that he did not get the DNC emails from a State or the Russians. It's only our FBI, James Comey, that is making such accusations. The hack may have well come from inside the DNC itself.

Dems prefer that things be "open to interpretation" ... facts that contradict the fantasy are completely ignored, dismissed as irrelevant, and unworthy of debate. Don't expect more than a handful of "fake news" replies.

    .
The new argument is that if the FBI really needed to see the servers they would have subpoenaed them.
