Objectively? Aren't you glad you weren't aborted? I sure as hell am. My biological mother chose life and I will always urge others to do the same. You bet it is not convenient. But it also isn't willfully ending a human life. Arguing that it isn't a baby will never win when all the argument needs is time and that "fetus" is born and we are left with...a baby. Who'da thunk it?

I see you learned a new word today --- "objectively."

What is there in that post that is not a personal attack? My beliefs have not been proved false, just challenged. You say they are vicious and evil. That is personal. If I said LIBERALS were vicious and evil that post would be killed by the moderators. What's the difference when applied to your post? And where do I use that type of attack on leftists? Where have I individually stated Poster XYZ was vicious and evil?

You just lost. You brought it on yourself.

Oh, like sentient adults didn't quit. THEY got to live. See how that works? I smoked for decades and did it cold turkey, pure will-power. I'm not a liberal and do possess self-control.

I know what it means. You seem to be having a little trouble with it.
    Everything.
No, they've been proved false, which is why you aren't even trying to defend them.
No it isn't. Personal would be saying you are vicious and evil. If we can't identify beliefs, ideas, opinions, etc. as vicious and evil, there is not much left of freedom of speech.
Because liberals are people, not beliefs, propositions or opinions.
The difference between people and their beliefs. People do subscribe to vicious and evil beliefs from time to time, you know. And one of the ways they might be persuaded out of those vicious and evil beliefs is someone explicitly identifying them as such, and demonstrating them to be such, as I have done with yours. IMO a great deal of evil might have been averted if someone had only had the courage to stand up in the face of people who disseminate vicious and evil beliefs and say, "Wait a minute. That idea is just vicious and evil."
I didn't accuse you of doing so.
You are mistaken. You brought that on yourself.

    Yep.

I don't think such counterfactuals are very meaningful. Every individual living human being has rights. A pre-viable fetus is not an individual living human being. Something that is not capable of living separately is not a separate life. Objectively. Google "parasitic twin" and start reading.
Some of us know that choices are sometimes not simple, that sometimes the lesser of evils is the better choice, even though it is still evil -- that life cannot be reduced to a few simple rules with no exceptions. Sometimes willfully ending a human life is the correct choice. The question is, when?

I would also urge an expectant woman not to abort a healthy fetus. But I am not her. I don't know what challenges she faces, or how carrying her fetus to term might affect her life. I am also not in a position to say exactly how unhealthy a fetus would have to be before abortion is the better choice. If a fetus is so malformed that it is unlikely to survive to term, why would we demand a woman carry it until it perished in her womb, potentially harming or even killing her? To demand she adhere to such a horrible, inhuman course of action on the basis of zero (0) rational thought is supererogatory to say the least. One might also call it vicious and evil.
Don't look now, but you just admitted that it is not a baby, but only becomes one if the woman chooses to provide the support of her body -- and if nothing goes wrong in the meantime, which it often does: about 1/6 of known fetuses abort spontaneously, and perhaps as many more end as what appears to be an unusually late and heavy menstrual period. Nature doesn't seem to regard those as "babies."
