A humiliating and embarrasing day for all Americans

I would hope folks throughout the world were not watching the circus yesterday.
These are indeed dark days for our country. What genuine, qualified highly skilled and accomplished person could possibly want to subject themselves to such an outrageous and surreal shitshow. I sat there in amazement as one Senator wanted him to talk about the words he used for farting when he was 16 years old.WTF??
And I am sorry, but the audacity of the Democrat panelist to insinuate HE should be calling for an FBI investigation when THEY SAT ON THE INFORMATION FOR 6 weeks!!!! Why did they not immediately call for an investigation then? How in the hell is he supposed to do that anyway??
These Ford "supporters" care not one iota about Ford. Absolutely none. They used her simply as a weapon to delay the hearings and destroy Kavanaugh at all cost.

Accusations must be fulfilled.
They must be supported by corroborating evidence and witnesses.
Accusations are never used to convict. Only the supporting evidence is.
And not only are Ford's accusations not supported, they are disputed by eye witnesses she said were there, and then disputed by literally 100's of women throughout this man's life.
It doesn't add up. And anyone with an ounce of objectivity can see it clearly.

This is humiliating for all Americans.

 

The first principal of the law is that the seriousness of an accusation is only meaningful if it is accurate.

Sexual assault in high schools and colleges is still prevalent as ever. There are still issues of law still unsettled. It is an American problem.

Sexual harassment in the work place is not as prevalent as it once was.

Sexual assault on campus still is.

 

This republic has never been democratic - not remotely.

But what happened yesterday was a near unprecedented sham and disgrace. (At least since the last massive war appropriation vote...)

One party holding important and critical information to themselves for political purposes, and then at the last moment - RELEASE IT TO THE MEDIA - instead of calling for an investigation - then attempt to blame the other party 7 weeks after the fact for not calling for an investigation.
That is laughably absurd and hypocritical.

 

And the sh*tshow today has "round 2" as Senate Democrats walk out of meeting to run to the media cameras.
Surely to God people can see through the faux outrage and glaring hypocrisy.

The American people are sick enough of this circus and want this thing to go on. One week of "some kind of investigation" will absolutely do nothing and everyone f*cking knows it. Meanwhile you bet your ass the Democrats will spend that time working on the next plan to delay and character assassinate some more - they have the willingness of the media to play along 100%.
One week will turn into a month of a bunch of Senators saying the FBI didn't have enough time...that there needs to be a Special Investigation...this will go on and on and on.
God.... at what point did every Republican in both houses become such spinless weaklings!!!!
