Ah, my ticker will be 76 this year! Not in the best of shape, but it has been a good one. No sir, not any kind of racist. I judge all people based on their character, what is in their heart. I have close friends who are black and have known some of them since in my 20s. I have never hung out with low character people. My youngest grandson's best friend is a black american, middle class, a great kid. My family has no racists in it. I would not tolerate it. But this does not mean that I would venture into the black areas here in town after dark. Crime is too high, drug dealers, gangs, etc. But if it were a white area of the same quality, I would not venture into it either.

And that supposed Clinton quote came from a gossip book, based on third-hand knowledge, someone claiming they heard Kennedy claim Clinton said such a thing. Not a reliable source. Naturally, Trump claimed it was gospel truth in his speeches.

 

Trying to figure out why there are girls in that picture. I mean, for a year we heard how much he hates women. If so, why would he have girls in the picture at all? All I've heard is over and over how he's sexist (in addition to racist and every other -ist), yet he replaced his press secretary with a woman who does a phenomenal job and he has all these females as WH pages. Clearly either the argument is wrong or ...

 

We share a perspective. I have always used the content of the measure of the man. i grew up in WASP white toronto, but my kids had a "rainbow" of friends from all kinds of different cultural heritages.

And there are places in toronto that I won't walk in after dark. Generally our "ghettos" are mixed race/ethnicity. our ethnic communities are just colorfully different than any other neighborhood. But out of the urban areas, Canada is a white nation - albeit far more tolerant than their american counterparts. Our racists and extremists usually get short shrift here so they keep a low pro.

Yes, I have known great and wonderful people regardless of skin tone. We are all human beings, and racism is just intolerable. Unacceptable to any moral being. You really do have to be immoral in its most basic sense to judge anyone based upon skin color. I only look at a person's character. And you find excellent character and good hearts in all races. And you find the contrary too. MLK had it right. A great man, IMO. Too bad the FBI were out to get him. I still believe there was a conspiracy involved in his murder. So does Judge Joe Brown who knows some inside info on it, since he was there when it happened. A cover up or so Brown says. But I am digressing, wandering here.

 

while I agree it's odd that everyone was white, I do agree with you, describing white folks in a derogatory way cause they are white is just as wrong

and this tends to happen, blacks tend to hire more blacks, whites tend to hire more white, both need to be conscious of this and make sure they are not being racist in their hiring

I find them to be a well qualified group and never even would have noticed color on my own, that's the lefts purview. I don't need the "proper" mix of colors. I'm into qualifications only. The left would hire an unqualified person of color over an extremely qualified white person and we saw the results of that in the last administration.

If you don't look for color you just hire and you get the color you get. You don't go shopping for the "correct" color unless shopping for clothes maybe.

 

Oh yeah for the last 50 years the war on poverty and crime in democrat strongholds has really helped out black americans.

 

The left always notices color, it's job one. Maybe you should look into how many of those white people are LGBT, that's job two.

 

If not looking for color results in no one but white folk being selected for prestigious jobs like these, then it seems pretty obvoius to me we need to look for color.
