    In what way? You stated that Chinese products are not reliable, and I pointed out that much of the US arsenal that you want to rely on contains Chinese products. Can you see the link?

    I am not sure we could win an extended war against china today the way we won against japan in 1941

    Then we were the industrial giant that produced 10 airvraft carrier for every 1 carrier that japan produced

    But today thanks to clinton, bush and obama china has the industrial base nstead of America

    Well, you're right: he's crazy, so probably he doesn't reason well about strategies. But the reason why Americans lost the war in Vietnam was that internal public opinion didn't digest that war ...

    Kim should try and make it as painful as possible for South Korea [US ally] ... to make the matter difficult to digest for US public opinion.

    In general I'd like to understand why some people here name some nations peaceful and another nations not peaceful. Which are these features which make peaceful and not peaceful nations?

    Kim is running a real marketing campaign for North Korea, hoping to obtain a reduction of the economical sanctions.

    Serial killers can act in a rational way.

    Did Kim kill anyone? Why is he a "serial killer"? The United States don't want to talk to Kim, so Kim made South Korea to talk to him. I think Kim has his strategy and his strategy works.
