A New Petition

The fine folks over at AE911Truth have started a new petition:

Over at Whitehouse.gov you can submit a petition and have your voice heard.

The AE911Truth Petition at this date has 67 of the needed 5000. The deadline is October 22nd.

The petition reads as follows:

Let's ignore that the paranoid 'truthers' are petitioning the very people they believe were behind the attacks - it has been stated on this board that there are millions of people behind the 'truthers', looking for their chance to have a 'new investigation': will they be able to meet their deadline and get a mere 5000 signatures?

Time will tell ...

How much have they spent collecting signatures? By now they could have just paid for a new investigation all on their own.

 

The whitehouse.gov petition site is getting quite a bit of action since opening last week. Not sure it's exactly what Barack had in mind... but here's another active one:

We the people petition Barack Obama to resign the office of President of the United States effective immediately.

The Resignation petition stands at 95. After 150 signatures, the petition becomes searchable in the whitehouse.gov petition database.

Those fine folks aren't doing as well as UFO nutters, who managed to collect the requisite 5,000 signatures in a couple of days, for a petition started at the SAME TIME as this fine effort of twoof ...

You can't buy government cooperation. You'll get nowhere without the United States offering disclosure.

Even 9/11 commissioners were denied the chance to see such information off the government.

 

All of that money is going to research...even though they swear they already have proof. Once you have proof, you shouldn't have to do anymore research, right?

I heard that research into water being wet went way down once it was proven....lol

 

I find it an interesting new twist as a poll, unscientific as it may be. Where are the millions of people (or even a percentage of them) who believe a new investigation is in order?

No I'm not saying anything like that at all. I suppose it depends what proof it is they are citing.. It is certainly possible to have proof of things that are contradictory to the "generally accepted account" as you put it (is that the 9/11 commission report that you mean when you use that phrase?).. But they can't just "pay for a new investigation" which is what I am disputing here. Any investigation is useless, pointless and incomplete when the United States just buries many of the most relevant information.

The only thing I'm trying to say here, is telling the common folk to buy their own investigation is pretty silly, as the common folk don't have the necessary tools to do a full and complete investigation.. The government just keeps all the juciest bits top secret.. Even 9/11 commissioners were denied the opportunity to see stuff CRITICAL to the story... So how can everyday citizens possibly? Can they just do their own investigation and drag the relevant leaders of the time into the hotseat to answer questions under oathe? Of course not..

It takes more than just money; a real proper investigation requires a legal framework to acquire disclosure and transparency that is necessary to uncovering the complete account, even the 9/11 commission didn't have that.

There's a petition about the government acknowledging 'alien aircraft' that was started on the same day as this. They have long since met their goal of 5000 signatures. What's with the 'truthers'?

 

Aliens are much, much sexier. Especially those green broads Captain Kirk used to hook up with.

Well, wouldn't the truthers be following something like this? I would think that they would not want to miss this opportunity to make their voices heard.

Hell, I didn't even know about the "Truth Movement" until I joined PF. It has been educational and entertaining. Mostly entertaining.

 

Unless, of course, many of the supposed "petitioners" at that site are fake.
