NO one has ever asked me for my guns or tried to take them away...I still have them, all of them, enough to defend myself and my home..

I was in a large chain store yesterday and they are no longer selling guns of any kind. It was kind of shocking. We are headed for gun confiscation.

I just went through a long discussion with someone comparing the US suicide rate to other countries who did not allow guns. The claim was that they would not have committed suicide, if they did not have guns available.

Just a side note. I hate the thought that someone thinks they have to commit suicide in order to end their misery.. However, I will never condemn someone for committing suicide to end their misery. It should be their right.

 

Somehow I doubt that is what that person meant. However, one person (you said 'someone') is very different that you saying 'we KEEP hearing'. KEEP hearing indicates you hear this argument over and over. You don't.

 

Contrary to that stupid meme the NRA represents it's members not the gun manufacturers.

And one always has to remain vigilant.

I have repeatedly heard that a very large number of people would not commit suicide if guns were not so easily available. Does that seem clear enough?
