Enough people feel disrespected by the NFL players' actions that the commissioner made it a rule not to kneel at one point. Since a large majority of NFL fans are patriots, these current actions could drop ratings even further. I hope it starts hitting their pocketbooks. NFL players, and sports players altogether, are extremely overpaid. That money goes to the heads of the weak minded ones, makes them think they're bulletproof from everything.

No, just democrats. Honestly, what's changed? Democrats still run around with their faces covered, targeting a certain race, attempting to silence free speech, etc. Nothing has changed since the 60's other than their target. You can tell me I'm wrong, but I don't know how you would seriously believe yourself for saying it. I think we both know I'm right, and you're supporting the racist team that once tried to exterminate people like you.

    No just right wing conservatives.

Yea because folks running around yelling "White Power" and "Take our country back" are just real red blooded americans.

Um, some people have done that for decades. Nothing new, except for that now more people are recording it.

Ok, works both ways. Like how 6% of the population make up 50% of the murderers? Or how white people have fewer encounters with police, but per those encounters are killed in higher numbers? How about the fact that a policeman is 18x more likely to be killed by a black man than the other way around?
He said the word, not towards anyone, so....that makes him racist? Does any black man in a movie who says "cracka" automatically become racist just because they said a word?
Right...its "everywhere", just like blacks are everywhere selling crack and killing white people just because the media has ran a few news articles about it?

That's the difference between doing drugs in your home vs on the street. That survey was conducted anonymously, so its not like the cops saw white kids doing drugs and marked it down but rolled on past their corner.
Not typically. Not like how you have one female teacher sexually assaulting her students getting probation while the male teachers get 20 years. There are anecdotal instances, funny thing is though, the judges presiding over both cases with "affluenza" were liberals.
    Citation needed.

The GOP aren't in charge of the areas you are citing. Its funny that most of the areas claiming "rampant police brutality" like Ferguson and Baltimore are ran by democrats for decades.
All due to the delivery. Bet you would see more support if the NFL kneelers were in the middle of the riots telling people to calm down or taking a knee instead of burning down towns for a JUSTIFIED shooting.

It's sort of true (the racial disparity in probation between whites and blacks)

Ok, the wording in what you posted is confusing. Are they saying blacks were sent back to prison 55% of the time or released from probation early 55% of the time? I'm not an expert, but don't you only go back to prison when paroled when you break the rules of your probation? So how is that a racial thing on the justice system and not the parolees own choices?

There not insulting you. Your projection of motive it why it offends you.

These players have every right to protest the anthem, and what they feel it represents, because it represents MANY different ideals. And the fact that many that have the same position as you don’t understand the irony of your position amazes me. You cant understand why they would “disrespect” the song that represents the freedom of this country, buy using that very freedom to do so.

The right makes this about Trump, and america as a whole, when in reality it is about real or perceived bias of color or class. You cant judge a man until you walk a mile in his shoes right ?

The way they said it and used the word "disadvantage," my assumption is blacks were likelier to have their probation revoked and get sent back to jail, and earlier they did mention that risk assessment and previous criminal history were all factored in to this. Plus it's a known fact that people can easily become repeat offenders if the opportunities they're looking for aren't open to them because of their history.

So its more of a choice made by the people and not the system. Its like blaming a dog for mauling you when you wrap your self in steaks and haven't fed the dog in 3 days.

White privilege is not having to read all these arm chair researchers making opinion based claims about how black people are a violent and lazy race which is completely ridiculous, yet here we are.

Multiple police departments around the country have been found participating in racist practices.

Are you saying someone is forcing blacks to sit down and read what you just described?

I agree with the boycott. I have been a Dolphin following for years..........until last year. Thought this year would be better but I can see it's not.............so I will not support them again this year.

And he did. "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."

My counter argument was addressing his motivations behind protesting the flag and the nation it stands for.

Right, many americans don't give a damn about social injustice unless it is THEIR social injustice.

    I'm all for the protests.

No, the ethnic makeup wont change the fact that the police shoot more whites than blacks.

Social injustice is a feelings ridden, made up crusade...like White Privilege, or Toxic Masculinity.

America is tired of the endless protests as far as I can tell. The viewership in the NFL will tell if I'm right.

No, you and yours do not.

People are tired of the constant annoyance and buzzing from the same whiners over made up BS.

It's wonderful to finally meet the man who represents "people". Thank you for your insight.

You're very welcome. You met them last year when they sent a message to the NFL with their viewership. Perhaps you shouldn't so quickly dismiss those people, or ignore their concerns.

They voiced them, NFL capitulated..or seemed to, and now we're here again.

Yours is another example of a man who has convinced himself that he knows so much. It is amusing to watch, but not as good as the average NFL game.
