    Sheriff Salazar is not thinking he will become President at all.

    Although the migrants may have been lied to, coerced falsely into promises that were never delivered, I don't think Ron DeSantis is the Target. More like the person who talked to them, Perla, as the inteneded target.

    Technically, whoever did this violated federal law under 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(ii) which makes it an offense for "any person who -- knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law."

    It's more like Trump offering you prime real estate with an ocean view in the middle of Arizona. Somehow, I can see you taking that offer and paying $10,000 per acre for a plot of land that is mostly desert and hundreds of miles away from the ocean.

    He isn't offering that promise to anywhere in the country to you specifically, will fly you to that job on the government's dime, or even say to come to him specifically for the job?

    Actually it is. The initial contact, the coercion to get them away from the Migrant Center, the staying at the hotel for 5 days, the transportation from the hotel to a plane on the former Kelly AFB land, all happened in Bexar County, his jurisdiction.

    But I do agree with Pro Line FL that there may not be any laws violated on the state level, but perhaps the federal level. We are assuming they are "legal." I think there is more to their status than what is being told.

    The asylum seekers were in San Antonio - BEXAR ****ING COUNTY - before the flight and during the alleged fraud enticement. Sheriff Javier Salazar is sheriff of BEXAR ****ING COUNTY. He has the authority and the jurisdiction. Suck on it.

    The same sheriff also said the immigrants were in San Antonio legally so what will the charges be if not for transporting illegal immigrants across state lines?

    There's a verse to a song by Tom Macdonald and he covers people like that perfectly... There's a reason the left is triggered, and it's not just because of DeSantis. They don't really like illegals like they claim they do.
