A vet, engineer and podcast host are among the '270 doctors' demanding Spotify take action against Joe Rogan

So he had a guest on his show that was a doctor and for that they want to brand him with misinformation. I also think this misinformation thing is amazingly anti first amendment. It’s the same call to stop information as Trump had. Trump called it fake news, the left calls it misinformation, the goal is exactly the same.

The American people are not morons, we can sift through information on both counts. As for some of the doctors not actually being doctors it looks as if their call for misinformation is actually based on misinformation to begin with so why should we trust these yahoos anyway?

For this action, yes. He has drunk the Trudeau WEF Kool Aid.

 

So he has no right or say over where or how or in what context his own music is accessed? He's giving Spotify a choice. Keep Rogan or dump him. They're the ones who get to make the decision. And if Spotify chooses Rogan over Young? Well to bad so sad Young is the one who loses out. The other way? Rogan loses out. Spotify isn't a democracy it's a business model. Let the bucks land where they may.

You regard Young as a 'dbag'? Fine.To the extent it matters he might well have exactly the same opinion about you. Who cares.

 

Don't like someone's opinions? Ban their speech on social media of course. It's the American Nazi way (sadly). All the major platforms do it.

 

The American way isn't banning' so much as money talks, end of story. Who wins will simply come down to who has or generates the most $$$. In the end that's all that will matter. Best guess at this point ? That's probably Young et al. Rogan needs to be richer/have more pulling power.
