Dear ladies and gentlemen, did you get intrigued? So did I when I came across this article. And after reading it I got a very strong feeling that our beloved world is slowly rolling to hell. Feminism, which started as a noble movement for women's right, turned into a monster that dictates men how they should do what they do in the private solitude of a bathroom. I truly hope that such initiative will never get here. NEVER. http://www.theatlantic.com/internat...ight-to-pee-standing-up/384754/#disqus_thread
"As has been the case with similar campaigns in countries ranging from Sweden to Taiwan, proponents of seated male urination in Germany typically cite its hygienic and health benefits." I'd like to know what health benefits they are referring to. You can get MRSA by sitting on a public toilet seat, and probably many other things as well.
If you can't keep it in the bowl like you should have learned when you were 3, then I agree you should sit or take some lessons on how to aim. It really is quite disgusting that even at a urinal designed for upright urination, there is always urine below on the floor after many people ue it. Some people need to learn how to pee standing up, perhaps this needs to be taught in school.
Now try; I dare you, to tell me that these places aren't absolute NANNY STATES. Tell me to sit down. I'll pee in your kitchen sink.
It's not necessarily easy to hit the bowl peeing when you have an erection - usually first thing in the morning.
Handstands? Then you'll be doubly sure not to miss. There was that experiment where they stuck a fake insect on the bowl, and men couldn't resist trying to wash it down the plughole. It reduced spillage immensely.
