He explicitly noted before he started that what he was saying was not a direct quote, but what was essentially being said. He accurately described the contents of that phone conversation.

But let me ask you Pred, is it appropriate for a sitting US President to request a foreign government launch a new investigation against a domestic political rival?

 

That's fine, but I just wanted you to be clear in your post that both sides condemn trump on this issue.

 

They have, but folks desperate to find any new justification for trump repeating the 2016 lie of the year are still criticizing ABC for using an incorrect video to describe an accurately reported event.

 

Unlike most Democrats I do not look to Washington or the news to find out how I feel about a subject. It is time for the USA to stop going into counties to keep peace. If something needs done then we support there effort through the United Nations, NATO, or something along those lines.

 

Come on, they didn't accidentally use the video. This was in line with having to rig the pickup up with explosives ling once again. Have narrative, have line we want the reporter to say so now we need video, don't have video, we will just produce something that is visually dramatic then. This is not reporting. Reports are not supposed to do stuff like this.

 

Is that portion of Syria now a war zone or not? What changes based on their mistake?

This was not a mistake. They had to actively find this video then edit it and then lie about this video being in Syria.
