Ultimately in 1948 Israel was attacked by the surrounding nations and after Arab defeat then and in later wars, arab nation hatred was so strong some of them kicked out their own palestinian population to provide a fighting force along the Israeli border. Now slowly but surely and in different ways those nations are beginning to see the benefit of having a thriving civilized nation within their midst.
