... says his daughter-in-law. He followed orders and never killed a single person himself.

BUENOS AIRES - A daughter-in-law of Adolf Eichmann, the late Nazi war criminal who masterminded the near-annihilation of Hungarian Jewry, withdrew her mayoral candidacy in Argentina after defending his actions on television.
    ....
“The history that you know is not the real one, the version that you know from movies and books is written by the Jews, and all the world accepts that history,” she said in the interview for the TN news channel.

“He wasn’t a bad person, he obeyed orders and did not personally kill anyone,”
    she added, calling Eichmann “grandpa.”

.... "I want to assure the public that I don’t and never did support the Nazis.”

I don't remember anything of that trial, except that they kidnapped him in South-America.

Does anyone of you have anything good to say about Eichmann or agree with Mrs. Lindemann?

Yeah, Eichmann didn't kill anyone. He just directed the dumping of jews into existing ghettos, then as Heydrich's butt buddy, attended the Wanasee conference assuming the responsibility of coordinating the transport of jews to the death camps (operation reinhart).

great guy, loads of laughs. I watched that trail on tv. Its all on YouTube if you are interested.

"Following orders" since the Nuremberg trials is an obsolote form of defense, and rightly so. It is rooted in the notion that the soldier is not morally responsible for any of his deeds because he was just following orders, orders given by a greater authority. Thus, the moral burden falls on the person in command. However, there are two problems. Pro primo, blind obedience and following orders even when the person in question knows it's wrong is at least questionable. Pro secundo, if the person in question doesn't recognize the moral issues with the given order(s), or furthermore, if he agrees with those orders, than he is just as responsible as the person above him.

For the soldier, unfortunately, all it boils down to is "execute me now or execute me later".

True, but the common soldier rarely needs to face trial (correct me if I'm wrong). However Eichmann was an Obersturmbannführer of the SS and thus he was in a much higher position.

That's pretty much true. We've been pretty tough on some of our own soldiers who have been guilty of war crimes. Our side used to carry out field executions of snipers and enemy troops caught in U.S. uniforms. Not sure if those fit the definition of war crimes.

Eichmann was evil and rather famously banal.

The execution of clandestine combatants limits the savagery of war. This is especially true of clandestine combatants pretending to be civilians,

If your answer stems from the official history stories, you may have to dig a little deeper, because recently a famous Jew, Gerard Menuhin, has released a book called "Tell the Truth and shame the Devil".
    Book description:
Have you ever asked yourself why the world won't come to rest?
Why your parents, grandparents or great-grandparents had to die in wars that never should have occurred in the first place?
This book holds the answer . . .

Behind the scenes, events are controlled by a coterie of ethnic puppetmasters who work their marionettes in high places out of public view. How did this world get to the dark place it is today? Who could have stopped it and what can we do today?

The book consists of three sections.
The first section concerns Adolf Hitler, and the real causes leading up to the outbreak of WWII.
The second section enlarges on the activities of the real culprits, provides a historical overview of their progress, their nature, their power over finance and the media, and the methods by which they achieved it.
The third section concerns the First and Second World Wars (what the author refers to as "the Second Thirty Years War"), their conception, funding and inescapable continuity; current laws against freedom of expression, and the evolution of the Orwellian state; the importance of U.S. support for the Soviet Union throughout the Cold War, and Communism's significance in the plan; the true origins of the enemy; Palestine's occupation and its fate as an example of our common fate; plus much more.

The text is interspersed with "Memos from Today," that emphasize its relevance by citing current events.

Hundreds of quotes are included from a wide range of authoritative sources, original and translated. The last pages of this manuscript comprise conclusions and predictions.

The author is the son of the great American-born violinist Yehudi Menuhin, who, though from a long line of rabbinical ancestors, fiercely criticized the foreign policy of the state of Israel and its repression of the Palestinians in the Holy Land.

I haven't read it yet; will wait until it hits the libraries.
My guess is, he will be just another voice in the wilderness. Luckily, he is a Jew and worse case scenario is, he will be called a "Self-hating Jew" and that will be it.
As for Eichmann... I suspect he paid his dues in torture, just like Hoess did.

In fact, Jews have occasionally had some limited influence because of their role as bankers - a role that they were effectively compelled to fill. They tended to serve central power in order to survive. This often involved financing wars. Whenever the debt became big enough killing the Jewish bankers was always a convenient option. Jews have always been used and discarded with ease. Conspiracy theories about Jews ruling the world are absurd. Jews have always been square behind the 8 ball. Amazing - really.

IMO, it was an error for them to return to Palestine unless they intended to literally occupy all the major Muslim states. Given that they could not do that they should have accepted the Morganthau Plan and located their new state in Germany or even better some large Island. Morganthau was a real mover and shaker - he had no influence.

Marcus Raskin 1995: “Visions and Re-Visions,” “Reflections on Culture and Democracy at the End of the Century,” New York: Olive Branch Books. P 296 K Origins of Zionism Morganthau plan –carve Israel out of Germany

Read some of Lipstadt's books or "The holocaust in historical context" Katz, Vol 1, Princeton Press, for better data.

Wow... you have an interesting view! Having Israel in Germany would have been a much better solution. But they wanted Palestine already before the first war. They claim God gave it to them.
They could have gone to Madagascar, too. Hitler actually offered them to emigrate to there. I have forgotten why they didn't go.
It is rather obvious, Jews like to live everywhere. Maybe they were a nomadic tribe way back when and it is still in their blood.

According to B. Freedman, most Jews are no real Jews - they are Khasars and came from somewhere out of Asia. Now it looks like most of them live in the USA.

I've never heard of Jewish bankers being killed. They own the Federal Bank, I heard.

Thanks for the reading tips. I will check it out. Lipstadt rings a bell in my memory... didn't she win a bet once against some Revisionist guy?

I read a couple of her books many years ago, and your description of a direct challenge to a critic does ring a bell. Perhaps a law suit? I cannot remember.

You may want to research the nationalization of the Rothchild bank by France under Mitterand for an example of how Jewish bankers can be dealt with short of murder. I also read a NYRB review of a book about another older very prominent German banking family I think the title was The House of Soss. It details the rise of the family as bankers and its incredible efforts to serve central power until its affairs were twisted into a pretzel of compliance followed by their destruction.

My take after fairly extensive reading is that Jewish elites have always been eager to serve kings and other powerful people in order to survive the common hate generated toward them initially by the passion plays and eventually by the Christian elite starting with Chaucer's tales.

Kings and powerful lords, many who personally hated Jews, protected them because they were viewed as useful tools. Most of what is viewed as Jewish conspiracy is IMO just the desperate efforts of Jews to make themselves indispensable in order to survive and flourish. Intelligent Jews will probably always have to feel afraid and insecure in a hostile world. This is probably the "difference" that many people claim to detect. They are the eternal outsiders - very convenient to blame them for everything that goes wrong.

If you look at how the Jews conduct(ed) themselves in Palestine, you can't really say they are unduly blamed for everything that goes wrong. And if you read about the Russian Revolution in 1917 (?) you wonder WHY they are that brutal?

Here is a site about the trial of Irving v. Lipstadt...
    http://www.hdot.org/en/trial/
It wasn't a bet but a libel suit and she won.

Nowadays it is the Muslims that are being chased and diminished in great numbers. Just look at their homelands and then the stream of endless refugees into Europe. Just to label their leaders terrorists is sufficient to have Armageddon rain down on them!

House of Soss is nowhere to be found. Maybe you got the Name wrong?

Human beings are never without blame. But compare the conduct of Muslims described in the Chachnama "A Pleasant Tale of Conquest" to the conduct of Jews in Palestine. The odd thing about the Jews is they never push for a decisive conclusive victory. The result is endless conflict.

The sporadic air attacks by the US are ineffective because they do not resemble Armageddon. They are a pointless provocation - see above.

Soss is probably wrong - will check.

Eichmann was a human terror, and its good that he was executed.

we should also thank him for admitting in an interview, before he was captured, that the Holocaust did of course happen

    - - - Updated - - -

ah, so your Holocaust denial is somewhat based on anti-Jewish bigotry

    - - - Updated - - -

    Freedman was a liar, a self-hating Jew, and a piece of (*)(*)(*)(*).

    its good he is dead.

We are not perfect, yet! Gods in the making, they say.
Can't find anything, and you are not in the habit of providing links.
Never thought of that. Yes, why are they dragging it out over many decades? Do they perhaps enjoy watching them suffer and struggle, rebuilding and then destroy it all again?
You misunderstood me. I meant the bombing of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and now Syria. You call that sporadic? They blanket-bombed Afghanistan. Ditto Iraq. Libya was also destroyed from the air.

Will find more on the Chachnama and get back. I did search for the House of Soss - must have the name wrong, I did find this novel which sounds very interesting. The Sins of Séverac Bablon by Sax Rohmer - about the fall of a German Jewish banker. I pick up a copy and let you know.

The bombing of Iraq was heavy. The drone attacks are not militarily significant. More later.
