    They are dropping fast considering this is only one county and we are only only 2 weeks into it.

    Thirteen unvaccinated Miami-Dade County Public School employees have died from COVID-19 since the 2021-2022 school year began on Aug. 23, including teachers, according to the school district’s teachers union.

    Now, United Teachers of Dade is hosting a vaccine pop-up Tuesday at Lillie C Evans K-8, 1895 NW 75th St. in Miami in hopes of encouraging school district employees and residents of Liberty City, Brownsville and the surrounding communities to get vaccinated.

    The pop-up will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will offer all three vaccine options — the two-dose Pfizer and Moderna and the single-dose Johnson & Johnson. Walk-ins are welcome or call 954-546-1908 to make an appointment.

    Was anyone not able to get the vaccine prior that wanted it? From what I can tell, you can get a vaccine in a gas station bathroom.

    It is one thing to believe a nutty and self-serving anti-vaxer spouting ridiculous stories about vitamins and Sulphur and preventing disease and erasing a 150 years of progress in virtually eliminating while slowly being personally confronted by more than dozen associates dead, all of whom were not vaccinated.

    When a member is right in your face offering a life-saving 2 minute jab procedure, even people who have been swayed into complacency from getting vaxxed can have a moment of clarity and say "What the heck, sure, jab me!"

    Even if the thought of being dead isn't motivational for nay-sayers to get jabbed, I guarantee every patient in the overloaded ICUs with tubes jammed down their throat wished they had taken that couple of minutes to be immunized to be allowed to be out in their classrooms teaching children facts, and hopefully a little wisdom.
