Most of this video I agree with. But when it came to joining the USA as a solution, and claiming the Wild Rose Party was a separatist party, he failed. I was a member of the Wild Rose Party and am a supporter of the Queen and country. My father was a founding member of the Reform party of Canada, he was a friend of a fella who ran Alberta for over 30yrs, and my mom was born in Nebraska. We love the USA but are not going to give up on Canada nor swap our Queen for a President.

The wild rose party has merged with the PC party to become the United Conservative Party and will easily win the next election. But here is a view of the wild rose party platform in the last election. Separation from the rest of Canada was not nor every a policy or on the platform.

Alberta has been ****ed over, thrown under the bus, betrayed by the Ottawa socialist Lie-berals for decades!
You can include Saskatchewan and Manitoba also.
Alberta will soon get back to conservatism with Jason Kenney, the NDP Rachel Notley experiment will soon be over methinks.

I use to live a few blocks from the La Brea Tar Pits.
A beautiful green park, modern museum, and the bubbling tar pits fenced off with statues of depicting critters trapped in the tar.

Not at all like strip mining for tar sands.
:flagcanada: does not know the meaning nor feeling of shame for their assault on Alberta.

Would YOU rather vacation near the La Brea Tar Pits or Alberta Tar Sands mining? ;)

I've been to La Brea once , over 20 yrs ago, it's alright.

Theres many places in Alberta to vacation, Banff, Calgary, Waterton Lakes, Kananaskis, etc.
Alberta tar sands are in Ft Mac area, it's way north, and the economic engine was/is of canada.

Kinda hard to compare northern AB to Southern CA, no?

"Save Alberta",,,,LOL. First canada is a boogeyman now youre saving AB???

Did you know Alberta existed as a place , before this thread?

In my opinion Alberta is all set up to accomplish something colossal.......
Theoretically...... Calgary Dollars could become a primary tool used to make sure that serious devaluation of the USA petro- dollar is prevented........
Canada's Dragons.... could be the team that end up leading
the move to protect the USA dollar from serious devaluation........
because I don't see how politicians or bureaucrats could ever pull this off......

Mr. Tim Moen, National Leader of Canada's Libertarian Party has the potential to become a major spokesman for the movement that I see
    beginning........

LOL....not a real country anyway!! Really, silly comment.
Alberta couldn't be a province if Canada weren't a "country".

Alberta & Sask have one disadvantage....they landlocked, so separatism would be kinda hard, even though I sympathize with Albertans.

BC on the other hand is far better off, as are maritimes , as they border the ocean.
Besides all provinces and territories, except for "La Belle" provence Quebec favor in Canada....moi621.
Quebeckers are the only defiant hard asses who think they can go it alone.....silly peoples....lost 2 "referendums" and still cant get it throught heir heads.

    Here you go.
There were peoples governed differently and it worked. Until the final Union of Provinces.

    Canada-Evolution.gif

And possibly some provinces will decide to federate or confederate and some decide to remain autonomous.

Freedom from the Tyranny of Ottawa!

uh huh....I got news for you....Quebec already and has been considering itself....a.."unique"...society for longer than I can remember

They always claim ...."tyranny" from Ottawa, but never refuse those hefty transfer payments$$$$, or "welfare money" as I call it , from the feds. Which basically comes from all other provinces.
Hell, their daycare is almost "free" of charge, students protest for "free education", and their provincial govt is even called the "National Assembly".....they are the national assembly of **** all afaic.....

    whats about tyranny moi621???

I think newfoundland supplies much of QBs power....as far as bilingualism....its across the board....everyone speaks English outside QB borders, Quebeckers haven't much of a choice but to learn English.....that's if they want a good job outside of QB.

Yukoners speak English....theyre a world away from Quebec...

Yes...... obtaining over time relatively FREE electricity to his province Quebec.........
    from Newfoundland and Labrador......
is one of the most logical explanations for the massive error that P. M. Pierre E. Trudeau made in 1974 that was so detrimental to the larger economy of Canada????!!!!

Andrew Scheer, I am willing to take on either M. P. Sean Fraser or M.P. Bill Casey.
