An albino baby turtle born with its heart beating outside its body has defied all the odds and appears to be thriving despite its disadvantages.

The tiny reptile, known as Hope, has such a rare condition that the condition has not yet been named in veterinary medicine.

Although such a strange story, one cannot imagine that this little devil will last long in a natural environment. Keeping it alive it an incubator is not something very ethical either.

It's going to need a lot of help. I hope they put a good skid plate on it.

My heart breaks every time I hear about an albino turtle with it's heart outside of its chest. :(

Oh wait, I'm thinking of transvestite turtles.
