American Military requires strength and the latest technology and equipment. We are in a long haul. Of course, there might be changes required in the administration and transparency of purchase, for example. However, frankly, in my opinion, the Middle East jihadi wars will continue for a long time, in phases, and then there nations that rely on their oil and business and will support some of the egregious leaders. Under the guise of creating a leaner, meaner and more mobile force, President Obama and Secretary of Defense Panetta will actually leave us with an Army, Navy, and Air Force that can be everywhere but fight nowhere; thats able to act quickly but not decisively, and with few resources to deal with the unexpected which tends to be the norm in strategic affairs or project real power where it counts.
