It's due to the shutdown of our economy and prolonged Covid-19 restrictions. It has long-lasting. There are suppliers that may not come back to the market for many years. Do you even realize how bad it is around the globe? China is going through an economic contraction, and their resource and manufacturing industries is shrinking into winter. The government is telling people to stock up on phone so they don't die, and North Korean are already dropping dead from starvation. American food banks are running low on supplies. Check food prices today. Wheat, Coffee, Cotton, and Cocoa have hit record highs. Reports indicate that China is shutdown due to a surge in Covid-19 cases. https://www.visiontimes.com/2021/11...-families-to-stockpile-food-and-supplies.html

No one is stoking fires. This is not the time for BS. We never were over-reacting. What we said would happen is essentially what is happening, and you guys have had to pivot from your previous position cause it's fact now.

No. Let's build an economy to help building material and manufacturing industries to meet demand. I'm not interested in anything else at the moment. Afterwards we can raise minimum wage and savagely argue over a pork-infused stimulus that gives money to establishment Republican and Democrat donors classes.

Isn't it amazing that they are surprised by inflationary reports. Of course we know they're surprised cause they had to do a 180 on foreign policy in order to fix the supply shortage.

I'm not sure how much impact that the basic income checks had on the economy, but they were necessary last year when people were not sure about the severity of the virus. Clearly, workers need to return to work, but doing what? We need to meet supply demands. There's no value in worker at many consumer service jobs when there's aisles of empty shelves at Walmart and Target. I went to BJs and there were five aisles of empty shelves, but they were in the back corner as products were moved up front. Relying on international trade has had drawbacks. Biden clearly isn't fit for the job. He doesn't know what the hell is going on. And Democrats are just going moan about increasing wages. They've increased. All my friend had raises. Most of them haven't received enough of one to meet the rise in prices.

And the answer is both idiots and liars. All these Democrats are coming into these forums pretending like they're going to teach us something about economics, because they plagiarized some BS from their propaganda sites. And you can tell cause there's a big improvement in writing skills and formatting.

And the poorest in this country vote Democrat on promises that things will be better for them, and when they aren't the will remember BEFORE Joey brain bleeder and cast their votes accordingly..

Yeah. This I can agree with you on. I never got that argument. I would have pounced on it immediately. The fact is that people needed a break. It's like the bank bailout. You need to hold people over for a bit until they fix their cash flow issues.

Fake News. Biden signed it into law. It did not receive one single Republican vote. Even Democrat Treasury Secretary under Clinton loudly warned that it would result in today's destructive inflation spiral. Only fools denied the obvious.

Biden signs $1.9tn spending bill into law.

    March 11.

Completely unnecessary. Nothing more than a self-indulgent red ink orgy by Democrats that is now stealing the wage increases that the American Worker gained under the Trumpian Miracle during the Golden Age of Donald.

The only fingerprints on this destructive mess are Democrat.

Inflation effects everyone. It doesn't effect you?

Why do they live on fixed incomes?

Is this your feelings? What is this statement based on? Sounds like partison nonesense to me.

You have a link that supports this?

Who are you that you feel you can speak for the poorest?

They are not as ignorant as you seem to seem to think.

My hungry brethren? Lol. Good grief. Emotional theatrics at its worst. Tell Tucker and Zero Hedge I said hello.

do you mean, Trump should have let people suffer after his 30 day shutdown?

their cash flow problem was due to the pandemic, not their fault

that said, part of our supply issue is that people all over the world were shutdown, which meant less supply, giving people money just meant more demand, even though people were not working the supply side

    it's a catch 22 for any President

Yes. If it's too cold at 50 degrees and you turn up the thermostat 20 degrees, you get a temperature that is just right. But if you turn it up another 20 degrees, it gets too hot. Biden and the Democrats were loudly and repeatedly warned, now they are stealing the workers wages through currency value destruction. Shame on these rich self-indulgent bastards.

How did you get to the question that "Trump should have let people suffer after his 30 day shutdown?" I don't get it.

Most people had cash flow problems due to the shutdown. Yeah. Not their fault. The prolonging of these shutdowns was the fault of Democrats. I think Florida did the best. Yeah we got hit earlier this summer, but most businesses around me survived. It was only the small BLM enclaves that decimated themselves by vandalizing and looting stores that they desperately need. One day my friend went to the pharmacy near him and it wasn't there anymore lol. I see people taking things from 7/11 on an occasional basis. Black kids just come in and say, "Hey I'm taking yo chips".

in regards to the supply. Yeah. Other countries were shutdown. But later on during the event many countries realized that they needed Oil and Natural Gas. So European countries made a deal with Russia. Australia built their own own Natural Gas Pipeline. I forget the rest, but you know where I'm going. There was clearly a problem. Everyone needed help from allies, enemies and neighbors in order to relieve the situation. Biden pissed on our deals with the Saudis early-on in his presidency so he couldn't get back what Trump had obtained, and he didn't want to fund any Oil or NG in the US. He can't ask Russia for obvious reasons. He F-ed up. And now he's expressing the fact that he was surprised by the rise in Energy. Why? Why would anyone be surprised?

He put all his chips into China, which is the country that is primarily responsible for the Covid-19 virus escaping from the lab in Wuhan, and then lied to WHO and Democrats about it not being contagious. And you F-ers bought it lol. Now they got the biggest problems of any 1st World Nation. The manufacturing sector is contracting, and the resource industries are stagnant. They are currently preparing for the certainty of food shortages and they definitely have a Covid-19 issue. What we need to do is build our own infrastructure to support more mining, drilling, and transportation of commodities, and we need local production of goods. That's it. As much as I laugh at Joe Biden for begging the Saudis, I actually appreciate it. I just wish he were like half as good as Trump was at dealing with issues.

I think Democrats are at fault for a lot of the turmoil in the United States, and it began when they censored news about Covid-19 in December and January cause they wanted to focus on impeachment. As a political party, you guys are as lost as the NeoCons, and you dominate every sector of the media with propaganda. There's no reason Biden, as he expressed, should be surprised by the inflation of oil and NG. Now Biden is releasing our strategic reserves cause he's in panic mode. He wouldn't have been if got his news from me. I'm not fooling you. This spiraling inflation crisis is going to last for half a decade, and Republican candidates across the country are going to F you guys up in the Mid-Term. Then Trump is coming, but I'm working towards DeSantis. Check the polls. If you guys don't stop this Trump-obsessed, BLM, progressive BS, he's coming back to the Oval Office. And you got nobody good for 2024. That's just truth.

Trump should not of threatened them to reduce the supply of oil, now we have to wait for them to increase it

Harris: Hey, did you know that prices have gone up?

    Suddenly, she "cares".

"Just as Joe Biden did two days ago in trying to catch up with the anger over rising and obstinate inflation, Harris acts as though consumer pain just came to her attention."

"Kamala Harris on soaring inflation under her failed leadership": “Prices have gone up. And families and individuals are dealing with the realities of that bread costs more that gas costs more.”

    No kidding? And your solution?

"When asked about the high #inflation rate in the U.S., @VP Kamala Harris tells reporters that the White House is taking it "seriously." She then talked about #BBB. It seems like the administration doesn't have a short-term fix, which could become a big #political problem."

Their spending is driving inflation, but they want to spend even more. Until it became a political problem for them, they really didn't give a damn.

Well, right now they want to spend money and right now nobody can stop them. So we get spin and even more inflationary spending.
Disaster. Getting rid of Harris won't fix Biden.

Not nearly as much as the poor.

Because some are lazy, some are old, some are uneducated and many work shitty jobs, the list is long and sad..

Yes! Because they are the product of the DNC! They have been kept poor, uneducated and fed bullshit promises that have never come to fruition. These are people that the DNC rely on to keep them in office..

History is all the proof anyone with half a mind should need! How'd the Democrat "War on poverty" turn out..

I don't speak for them, I speak OF THEM ;)

No they are not ignorant, they are captured! The DNC keeps them housed in ghettos/projects parts of large cities with poor schools little or no job opportunity and allow free reign of drugs/addiction and crime while gang rule over them with fear and firepower while law enforcement ignores them because of fear of public opinion, media condemnation and imprisonment, while/where the thugs don't..

So you don't think this country has it's share of hungry? You really are out of touch good sir :)

I agree with you 100%, but the inflation needs to be constantly reviewed and if necessary possibly some counter cyclical monetary policies may need implementation so it doesn't get out of hand.

That said, should it become necessary, the hateful anti democratic all in Trump posters won't care, and that also I agree with you.

Yep, why did Trump turn up the thermostat in 2017 with his tax cuts when the temperature was just right? Why did he continue pressuring Powell to lower interest rates when the temperature was just right? The Trumpers have no reason to point fingers here. There was a reason Trump was the self-proclaimed king of debt.

They Lie About Everything: When All The Lying Fake News Media Narratives Collapse.
Parents are no longer fooled by the Left's lines about this.
Yes. They are the biggest liars. They are the propaganda horns for the Lying Deep State and the Left Wing Authoritarians that hate Americans and demand their complete submission.
It will be yet another disaster that they will try to blame on others.
You have to, because it is. It's all lies in service of the Left.
They viewing pushing him out with a relentless blizzard of lies as verification of their lying approach, pys-ops and a mass coordinated disinformation campaign directed at the American People.

You should have been at the point you are now, 4 years ago.

Starve the octopus. “The first step to ridding ourselves of the octopus is to stop being afraid of it. Oh my how terrified people are of the octopus. What if it comes down on you? What if it attacks you? What if you are cancelled and your reputation is ruined and your name dragged through the mud and you can never again get a job or a friend or enjoy a meal in peace. That is just another deception. The New York Times does not have guns and tanks to send against you. It cannot really hurt you.

The next step of ridding ourselves of the octopus is to stop feeding it. Stop feeding the octopus. Just stop. Stop reading the New York Times. Right now. Never again visit that awful web site or look at that awful paper or that tweet or that awful article. Do not have that conversation. Do not click or press on the link your friend sent you who is trapped in its clutches. It is a boogeyman and if you fear it it will only get stronger and if you ignore it it will go away.”
