war in Iraq goes, it is true that all major combat operations against the Iraqi Army were
concluded. What is not true about that?

Why would they need immunity if they weren't in combat and just advising? Besides, the negotiations would be so simple. No immunity....no more money.

So,here is my read on all this blame game--There has,as far back as any of us can remember, been this struggle for power over in Iraq,you have the Suni's & Sheites(msp)all wanting different things,so,here comes a Dictator,Saddam Hussein,that used a IRON hand to rule this country( He had his Imperial Army to protect him & his family)so, here comes an American POTUS, GW Bush,that decides to lie us into taking out this Dictator,Hussein's Imperial Army disperses goes into hiding & emerges as ISIS--
of course nobody thinks after the United States use of force to rid Hussein,there would be anyone stupid enough to come after the United States again,BUT,that is where we faltered, GW Bush should have hunted down the Imperial Army,you know,finished the job.
Another issue left undone was the United States not taking into consideration the deep seated fight between these 2 different religious beliefs,the Suni's & the Sheites,there will probably always be this fight & in 50 years from now, after ISIS is defeated, there will be another group of terrorists by another name trying to gain the power.
There is no win for the United States here,never was,so,is Bush to blame for not seeing the future here,Yes,he created a firestorm that now is impossible to contain,the best OBAMA can do is keep trying to keep the United States safe,use the United Nations (one of Bush's failings,not using the United Nations) to help curb ISIS.However,now,along with the bomb making plots,we now have social media.
Look,we have smart people here,in my opinion,we should use all the intelligence from both sides of the aisle to come up with a viable plan,then take it to the United Nations & then all act together-most of this is happening,except for "both sides of the aisle working together".
So,instead of what "Albatross" is hanging around who's neck,how about,let's talk about a reasonablelong term solution or strategy to get us out of their fight.
