    Yes we did. Rather six of the original thirteen colonies did. The others did not.
    And I already anticipated posts like yours and acknowledge we made some bad mistakes. However we also abolished slavery and helped end the world trade in slavery though the slave trade still exists in some Muslim states.We made amends.

    Slavery was a ubiquitous societal staple in antiquity so I'm not sure Jesus "approved" of it anymore than he approved of Rome or war but you can work out your Jesus issues somewhere else.

    Funny you mention that. I have a good friend who bought a bunch of Trump hats, signed by Trump, when they were under 200 bucks.

    This was the summer of 2016.

    He's been selling them since and prices are only rising.

    He got married a few days ago, and over 500 attended.

    The Trump hats paid for it.

    True story.

    Nah.. Folks who support the make it great again are simply asking for folks on the left to stop their endless divisiveness and identity isolationist agenda. Making the country great simply asks folks like you to stop with the non stop racist BS, your endless attempts to wedge folks and communities apart. It's funny you bring up the confederacy, as it seems to exactly like what the progressive movement itself looks like. You folks don't like the community, so you're willing to tear it up, and break it, or otherwise destroy it to what? Make yourselves feel? Be relevant? Or just undermine the nation the rest of us so ardently support?

    So keep your stars and bars to yourselves for a change. The rest of us will thank you for not being the divisive DBs you've been for the last several decades....
